The media could not be loaded. It was my summer project to make a patio in my backyard. This 14 by 20 feet white louvered pergola was such a fantastic investment, it looks great. It came packaged well with no missing parts and no scratches on the paint. I was thinking about putting in a screened in enclosure, but it would have cost 18k. This was more economically feasible. Between unpacking and putting it together, my husband and I worked on it for 2 days from 1-8 both days, it was easy to assemble and functional. The instruction manual was a bit overwhelming at times, however it was very detailed. Only at the end of assembly did we have confusion with putting on the corners, I contacted customer service and they were able to tell us where we went wrong and how to fix it. I’m very impressed with the customer service. The gutters work but it still leaks, I’m not concerned about it. It’s pretty heavy maybe 600-700lbs. Find out about permits for pergolas from your local county.

We ordered the 12' x 14' pergola. We just love it. It was everything we wanted. Hired some guys to put it up. The instructions were easy to fo!low. ( instruction book in box 4) . All boxes numbered on the outside. The guys had it up I. 6 hours. Easy to handle the louvers. Just a really great product.

The media could not be loaded. I would give 5 stars but I had a few issues that showed up during construction and movement of louvers. 1) The paint was scratched in a few areas but being aluminum in construction it should be an issue. They don't have touch up paint so I'll do my best to match it. See Pictures. 2) The first issue was the alignment of one section. The screw holes between the side beam and the beam connector didn't align properly. We did our best to get them aligned but in the end we couldn't get the Center sill connector to stay on. Just to big of a gap. What can one expect from Chinese construction. 3) Another issue was the Beam corner cap and Beam corner cover. They went on but alignment was an issue. 4) A couple of the louvers had dents in them. It was pretty easy to fix but I waited for communication from Purple Leaf to make sure I didn't void any warranty. 5) Coming from China they provided metric anchor bolts. Well Amazon does list one but it looked cheap. Drilling into concrete takes a good bit than can also go through rebar as well. So I put them aside and bought 3/8" sleeve anchors to replace the metric ones. 5) Once it was in operation we had one side making a lot of squeaking noise. See Video. In this case the factory responded quickly to my email and have sent me a replacement unit. I guess they don't have a quality control check. Here lies my biggest complaint. I have to remove all 102 louver blades to remove the center beam in order to replace the part. As for the provided manual. It is probably the best manual I've seen from a company. Its easy to follow and hard to make any mistakes. My spouse and I did all the pre-assembly in our garage before taking those parts out the installation location. I did need extra help here but my sons provided the assistance needed to get it in place. Make sure to follow the manual and don't install the sleeve anchor until the very last step. Make sure to use a level and understand that the 12ft x 12ft I installed is greater than that dimension. We hope to have years of service and again customer support by Purple Leaf is excellent.

Buying a pergola was not an impulse buy. We researched many of the pergolas on Amazon and other vendors before settling on Purple Leaf. The construction is all aluminum and they had a number of different sizes so we could find the correct dimensions. We received the product promptly and in six boxes. The instructions were detailed and clear. I unfortunately stripped a few screws and discovered they have best customer service. They responded nearly immediately and they were super nice and helpful.
