2/28/25 If you are in a northern city prone to snow, there ARE PRECAUTIONS YOU NEED TO TAKE (see photos). Buy some decent 4 x 8 sheets of 1/2 inch or stronger plywood and lean them against the sides of the gazebo (put some 2x4 guides to keep from sliding) to disperse the weight of the snow. ALSO IMPORTANT cut some 2x4 supports at the right width to jam under the middle run of the roof lines. The snow and ice this year was too much weight for that long run of light metal. It bent by the time I returned to be able to shovel off the load of of it. There is a simple fix that purple leaf can incorporate at the beginning and am happy to discuss with a DESIGN OR ENGINEER team leader. The drip line also froze and bent the end caps that hide the roof slats. This is not as ez of a fix but have a few ideas that may work. Despite this, I still stick with my rating and AT THIS POINT, and have ZERO “buyers remorse”. Purple leaf also has been VERY RESPONSIVE. You will end up liking this after a slow start with the instructions. Just stay with it and do not get frustrated as it will become easier to follow. When finished, it will be a great addition to your outdoor area. There are a lot of windows so it gives you a lot of configurations for air flow. Having a lot of windows, you do have to be sensible about how many you wish to remove as you will have to put them all back in if it storms and you would like to protect any inside furnishings that you might have. A couple suggestions if you had 4 moderately strong people, you might consider constructing the roof on the ground and then lifting up on the frame. Also the drip line is pretty fierce , I would suggest that they give you a small channel to put under the front and back of the roofline to direct the rainwater so you can walk into the gazebo during rain without getting drenched. I will be creating a drip gutter to wick the water away from the entryways. Lastly, instructions should come in an attached weatherproof package attached to the outside of one of the boxes. I am not convinced yet of the strength of the windows as it pertains to the harsh winters that we face in the North so I asked to purchase a few extra windows to which the company said they would consider. Very happy.

Im obsessed and everyone who comes over wants one! Great for our hot tub room. Says takes 2 people. My husband who does not do this stuff for a living had it up in 3 days. I held a few piece for him but basically did this himself. We put it on top of a old patio so the hot tub water could go under the deck. Love the adjustable windows. Its fall time and it staying warmer in there. Overall satisfied

Little backyard oasis

We got the 12x14. I wish we would have gone one size bigger because the size appears to be based on roof size not necessarily the foot print. The instructions were at times difficult to interpret. The beginning set up was much easier with 4 people but after the frame was up my husband and I were able to finish without help. It took us a full weekend + another 4 hours to finish this. But we love it. No leaking from the roof or sides. I love the racks for the pop out windows. They fit in our deck box perfectly. There was 1 window that had an imperfection and a few of the holes were difficult to line up but we shifted and made it work without causing damage. The imperfect window we just moved to a side o one would see.

Great escape from bugs and the sun

The gazebo is lovely and a great escape from the sun and bugs. The panels are easy to remove for airflow and I was able to add a lot of seating in our 12x16'. The build is not fun, but my husband and I did it with the help of one other person for the roof and the rest with just the two of us. Follow the advice of not tightening the screws all the way until finished. The last piece on the walls didn't want to slide in nicely without some shimmying of the other pieces. We had some parts damaged in shipping and were sent replacements within a few days of letting purple leaf know so the company is very responsive and helpful. Ours has only been up for about 2-3 weeks but has withstood some rain and wind storms and we are hoping it lasts for a long time. It has been a pleasure to spend time in and allows me to be outside without being bothered by bugs.

Solid, well-made product.

Very impressed with the quality of this product. It arrived in nine well-packaged boxes, each clearly labeled. The seller provided a helpful checklist for delivery. Assembly isn’t difficult but is very time-consuming—definitely a two-person job, maybe three for the initial frame. The only issue was installing the bottom roof rails; the corners were very difficult to push into position for proper placement of the brackets and inserting the screws, and could be better manufactured. Instructions are mostly diagrams, so expect a learning curve. That said, the finished product is a solid, well-made product that looks great and is definitely worth the effort.

Very Nice product But Instructions lacking

The shipping, customer service and product are very good. We had one wrong bracket and were short on nuts and had to wait a week each time to have them shipped from China. The Ad says there are lights but lights are no longer integral to the sunroom and that are provided separately if you request them. The largest problem is the instructions. First they say don't tighten anything until step 1 is complete. If you follow this advice you will realize that some major bolts were hidden by other parts and they didn't get tightened. I have advised the company of this issue and they are sending it to their tech people to include better instructions. My concern is that there are probably sunrooms that have been built that by others that will be ruined by wind and snow load.

Great Product!!

Wife and I assembled the gazebo in one weekend. Very easy and straightforward instructions. Erected it first part of July 2024 and now Feb 2025 it is still sturdy and solid despite 60 mph winds pounding it from the south and west. I did glue and anchor it to a concrete foundation. Have really enjoyed it during the summer months when the wind was blowing hard. You can still remove panels and because of the open areas in the roof the wind comes in and then goes up towards the ceiling instead of blasting you in the face. Only thing I would change if I had it to do over is get the 12' x 16' instead. Amazing how small it got when chairs and table were added.

Love this sanctuary

We love our sunroom. Its roomy enough for 4-8 people to enjoy. We used stepping stones for the foundation and may build or pour one later. I may use it as a greenroom this winter for my plants. The price was perfect. We paid 2 carpenters to assemble. It took them 8 hours. We pre-organized the screws and wish we had done the same for the parts. There were 9 boxes and they left off some parts. With that being said the assembly still seems to be sturdy and withstood 60 mph winds in the recent storms. It gets pretty hot during the day.
