Arrives in a set of 5 boxes. The first delivery came with only 4 of them, but I contacted support via Amazon and received a reply that night - something that I was not expecting. They provided the specific tracking number for the box and updated me on it's location. It arrived the next day. Support also checked to make sure all the parts were there and nothing was damaged, offering to help resolve the issue if it was. The gazebo took me 2 days (about 8 hrs total) to set up by myself using power tools and an extension ladder to take the role of what should have been another person. I advise 2+ physically-capable people on this project. Directions we're pretty easy to follow. There are a lot of parts, so keep them organized. Also, beware sharp metal corners and wear gloves. Overall construction is solid, and I got to test it out during a heavy, driving, rainstorm. There was some very minor splashing through the roof vents, but I was still able to sit and work on my computer in comfort. It will stay absolutely dry for 95% of the rain I expect. Hey folks, this was one of the best customer service experiences I've had. The representatives at Purple Leaf were truly outstanding, even on the weekend. We unboxed the pieces and inspected everything before assembly and honestly, all went very smoothly. We chose to hire a local handyman and his son to do the install. The two of them completed it in one full 8 hour day. At first, the matte black roof looked a little wavy but customer service suggested the installer might have over tightened the roof bolts and with a little adjustment, the issue was resolved. We are thrilled beyond measure with the look and the way the gazebo fit perfectly into our space. We purchased this gazebo because my husband has skin issues and was previously restricted from being outside during the day. Now with this gazebo, he's comfortably out of the sun and able to keep an eye on the grandkids as they swim and enjoy the pool. ... show more

I purchased this 12x14 sunroom not realizing how big it actually was. This thing is roomy and we’ll made. The posts are steel with a wood finished paint. It came in 11 boxes, which, even being a handy man, was pretty daunting at first. Instructions are the usual picture steps. It wasn’t difficult to put together, just took awhile because it’s a lot of pieces. Did most of it by myself, but you def need atleast 3 people on ladders for the roof frame. The windows are screens with these plastic film pop ins that work great when it gets cool out to help keep it warm in there. And in the summer you take them all out and it gets a nice breeze through. Double sliding doors on two sides are a great touch. My only issue was the lights on the post didn’t work after hooking up all the wires. And the wires run inside posts so once it’s together you can’t go back and check plugs unless you take it apart. Customer service was excellent though. They reached out to me constantly and tried to find out the issue, sent me replacement items and arranged a phone call with their tech. Wasn’t able to get them working but because of how hard they tried I kept the 5 star review because I absolutely love the product. ... show more

I purchase a 10x14 for the backyard. Was shipped quickly, came in 6 separate boxes same day. Instructions were clear, my husband and I spent the weekend building the gazebo (probably a total of 10 hours). Unfortunately we did have to create a few of our own holes to complete the roof. The roof inserts were the toughest for sure, the alignment was tricky and took the most time. But it’s definitely doable with 2 people. One other annoying factor was that many hardware pieces were loose in the packaging. Looks good and the quality is good too. Definitely happy with this purchase ... show more

I just want to start off that my husband and I took MONTHS to decide what to do in our backyard what pergola we wanted and how big. Our backyard is large and was a blank canvas for us. We got all the parts in the dead of summer in AZ so putting together took time just the two of us. I highly recommend at least three when you need to stand up. Our pergola was sturdy and we loved the aluminum /wood look. Unfortunately we had a micro burst of wind in our backyard after a couple months. We hadn’t had a chance to secure yet. The pergola flew over the neighbors yard but we were able to retrieve with minor damage. That wasnt the companies fault and instead they listened and helped us get all the broken parts. This is where the real 5 star review comes in. This company within 24 hours had responded so fast and within a week our new parts were at our home. After a very long selection process, I change my mind at the last minute and went with this purple leaf 10 x 14 gazebo. The details of full screen included plus the built-in gutter system grabbed my attention. However, it was all the compliments on the customer service that made me take the leap. Sure enough, I was happy to have the same outstanding service. One of my screen panels, had a tear on a zipper, and it would not go up without causing further damage. They were swift in their response, and within days had sent an entirely new set of screen panels The gazebo went up fairly quick with the use of drills with hex bits. (I do have carpentry skills). Like everyone else says the roof is a little tricky. Just be patient and follow the instructions. Highly recommend ... show more

Extremely attractive, well-engineered gazebo with clear instructions. Excellent customer service for questions and issues. I assembled this alone except for a few hours with a buddy. Most of the work can be done without assistance. There are a couple of good assembly videos on YouTube that are helpful for little tricks but the instructions are good and well-illustrated. The customer service is fantastic and they will contact you immediately after ordering and guide you through the process. Shipping was super prompt.
