I had my reservations about buying this, but after reading the reviews (both here and on the Purple Leaf website) and watching a couple of YouTube videos I committed. I'm very happy I did. It's only been up a few weeks, but we love it so much more than our old gazebo with it's removable top. The shipping was fast and the boxes (5 in total) were very well packed. Each box had it's own inventory list and the pieces (for both the gazebo and hardware) were clearly marked. I was worried about the assembly instructions being extremely complicated or worse, extremely vague. Instead the directions were clear and very easy to follow. Purple Leaf also includes one or two extra screws (of each kind) as a just in case. In total, it took two people about 10 hours to assemble. The opening of each box and inventory check added another 1+ hours. Two hot tips... 1. Put old sheets or blankets underneath the section you are working on. That way, if you drop any hardware it will pretty much stay where it lands and not bounce into the grass or between deck boards and make it near impossible to find the piece. 2. The gazebo assembles with two different size allen wrenches. Using them will add many hours (and sore hands) to the build time. Buy bits for your drill instead. We used two drills, with the two different bits. This is ideal. One word of warning... We got the 10x14 model and it definitely needed 2 people to assemble. Doing it alone would've been near impossible. For larger models, you will need at least 3 people for certain parts.

I bought this gazebo to replace a soft top gazebo that I had, and I was tired of putting it up each spring, and replacing it every other year. There were a lot of good reviews for this one which did sway my decision. Like many other reviews, I did find there was a fair amount of parts to put together, and the instructions had little to no verbiage (just pictures). I am pretty mechanically inclined, so this wasn't a huge problem for me. However with that said, I must say I was very impressed with the quality of the materials, and the fitment. The pieces all lined up excellent, so I didn't have to adjust, fumble with, alter, etc. anything. The completed product is sturdy and beautiful, and should last for years to come.

Extremely good quality gazebo, packaged great, very good instructions, and not to tough to put together. The curtains and bug screen is of very good quality also. I highly recommend this purple leaf Gazebo. I also bought a purple leaf 10 foot umbrella for an outside table, and the quality of that umbrella was also great. I highly recommend this purple leaf Gazebo, I bought the 12x14 size. Good luck 👍🏻

I thought the items were well protected and wrapped in all the boxes. It went up pretty easy the whole frame wait and get to get the roof up. Ran out of time. Everything seems very sturdy and stable.

My third gazebo assemble. By far best packaged and fit of the parts. Ie roof panels. I did 95 percent of the installation by myself. Def need a screw gun with a #4 Allen bit makes life great. Huge time saver. Came out nice now just digging footings to pour cement into bolt it down. Since it is on a paver patio. Worth extra money from other brands.
