Description

The PuroSmart Reverse Osmosis system uses the most advanced water treatment technology available. Reverse Osmosis is recognized as one of the best available technologies for producing high quality drinking water. It’s also the same method used by many bottled water companies to make safe and great tasting drinking water. The PuroSmart is the most compact reverse osmosis system available, and connects directly to your faucet. Unlike other small filter systems that require frequent cartridge changes and only remove taste and odors, the PuroSmart truly purifies water at the molecular level. The carbon block pre-filter removes chlorine, tastes and odors. The reverse osmosis membrane in the PuroSmart removes nearly all the other contaminants common to tap water. Producing up to 50 gallons (189 liters) of water per day, the High Flow PuroSmart Reverse Osmosis system will fill containers up to 4x faster than the standard model. It's easy to use; just replace the aerator on your kitchen faucet with the one provided with the PuroSmart. To connect the system press down on the white ring and push the system firmly onto the faucet. The system is now ready to use. • Better description of item.
Size: Counter Top RO System
When I bought the product I was excited to get a RO portable system for under $100.00. The only thing is the description on the Amazon website said it would purify 50 GPD, when I started assembling the hose to the filter; the description on the filter said it would only do 15 GPD. I returned the item, but I think that may of been a mistake on my part. I do believe that this is a great product. ... show more

  • Great filter (terrible stand/holder)
Size: Counter Top RO System
The filter works great and produces nice tasting water. It's easy to go back and forth between filtered water and regular faucet water with the little switch. The downside is the crappy stand. The filter is top heavy and the stand's base is not big enough, so the filter will constantly (constantly!) tip over on your counter. ... show more

  • A lot of water goes down the drain
Size: Counter Top RO System
I was not aware when I purchased this that the unit waists more water than it purifies, it is however the cheapest RO unit I could find.

  • Scandallous!!!!
Size: Counter Top RO System
Scandallous!!! Not new. It is an opened box, someone even tried to assemble it, perhaps even used it and sent it back. The 2.5 foot clear tuding was cut in half and one part was attached to the valve. How can this happen with such a hygeny item!!!!

  • Wastes water no point buying
Size: Counter Top RO System
This filter wastes water excessively. I mean excessively. Sad design. I let tap run for half a day only to fill up 5 gallon tank and the rest of water goes down the drain. My apartment office said a letter saying this is strange you've consumed water excessively this month. We need to check the pipes to make sure there's no leakage. When I got that letter I immediately stopped using it. Now I bought a water distiller and it saves me a ton of water and money and water tastes good - no minerals. ... show more

  • 95% dissolved solids removal.
Size: Counter Top RO System
A good countertop unit. Not difficult to install. If you need a faucet adapter they have them at HD. Produces a mildly alkaline water with 95% solids removal ( by my DS meter). Fresh taste. Produces water at a rate better than advertised if you have good pressure.

  • Works for me
Size: Counter Top RO System
Just picked this up for my indoor grow. No problems tests at 15PPM. When it is not in use it needs to be stored in the fridge... Also it does waste a lot of water vs the output of filtered water.
