We are using this product in our walk-in closet to ensure the humidity doesn’t damage our clothes. It does its primary job effectively. It is very compact and thus barely takes up any space. Exactly what we were looking for.

I purchased this dehumidifier for my walk-in closet. I typically run the product daily for about 8 hours, there’s a timer with automatic shutoff. I was starting to get mold on my clothing and shoes, due to my closet being connected to my bathroom. At first this product worked wonderfully. It is fairly small and pretty quiet. It is not whisper quite, but it is not loud enough to be a burden or distracting. I could definitely tell the product was working, and when I closed the door to the closet, it would get quite warm due to the heat put out by the dehumidifier. I have another product in the closet to check the humidity levels and in the beginning it was definitely reduced humidity. After about 2 months, I noticed, it was no longer warm and only very little water was collected. I gave it about 2 more weeks and the collection tank was bone dry, and no heat was produced. This was after running all day for 8 hours. Luckily, I was within 2 days of my return window. I exchanged it for another one, but now I only have 1 month, so I will definitely keep a close eye on this product. It doesn’t seem to last long and I don’t want to be out my money. So, buyer beware…. I will update if this product holds up with this replacement machine. Update: I truly lucked out by the first machine going down within the return window. Easy peasy to return and the replacement arrived. I typically use this machine daily on the high, 8hr timer function. It has really helped my walking closet with the humidity issues. Now to be 100% honest, I do use this in addition to DampRids throughout the room as well. There has been a marked difference. I am not finding as many garments with the beginning of mold spores. So this item pretty much does as it says it will do, if you don't get the dud. I increased my review to 4 stars.

This Pure Enrichment PureDry Deluxe Dehumidifier was purchased for use in our 23 ft Airstream trailer. In the past, we experienced high-humidity issues in both the summer (due to the outside air) and in the winter. With 2 or 3 people sharing this small space, humidity is inevitable. Adding to this the moisture from showers, drying towels and cooking, we routinely experienced significant condensation on walls and windows in winter and towels took forever to dry in all seasons. The PureDry dehumidifier was a wonderful find! The condensation has been almost completely eliminated, towels dry quickly and there is far less frost collection in the refrigerator/freezer. This is highly recommended for RVers. Other passive dehumidification systems are useless but the PureDry unit is outstanding. After about 2 years, the unit did fail to start one day but Pure replaced it immediately on a warranty claim. Highly recommended!

I purchased this for an RV bc of the excellent reviews. While I didn’t get a chance to use it in the RV, I used it in an interior bathroom that couldn’t exhaust during a home renovation. In terms of dehumidification’s it didn’t do much. It ran constantly about 3 ft away from a shower in a 70 degree room for 2 months and never pulled enough water to empty. When the 1st power bill arrived, I didn’t associate the $100+ increase with this little machine (I mean, it’s cute and innocent, right?). When the 2nd power bill arrived, it became pretty clear. I admittedly haven’t had much experience with dehumidifiers up to this point, so it may be my ignorance…. But, always run with a timer… and, look at other units. If it can’t handle humidity in a 70 degree bathroom that’s about 90 SF, I’m not sure where/how it’s supposed to work… seems like it should do something, other than suck power.

This is the 2nd one of these we have used in our travel trailer. I think we wore the first one out over the last 3 years. It definitely pulls water from the air and has an easy-to-dump water reservoir. It has 2 settings (low/high) as well as a timer. We usually keep it on high and have run it all day without issue. One recommendation is to make sure none of the sides touch the wall while running as it does get warm and needs air to circulate around it. Another plus is that the company is very responsive if you have questions or concerns.

The dehumidifier is quiet and easy to use. It works much more slowly than I expected, however, so that after a whole day in my very humid bedroom (70+% humidity) only about an inch of water had been extracted from the air. If there are ways to optimize its use, I wish they were included in the instructions. It may be that my medium-sized room is too big, however!
