I love this fireplace but my dog ate the remote. When I tried to call someone for a replacement as directed on their web page no one answered the phone. We have two of these. Had the first for about 3 years and it’s still running just fine. Second one we just got and the size is lovely. We don’t use it often admittedly although we intend to use the basement one a lot this winter. But when we do they put out nice heat via the fan. Sometimes our original one turns on by itself but I think I’ve figured out that was a toddler hands situation as there are touch screen buttons on the actual fireplace as well that are kinda hidden. ... show more

I had a woodburning fireplace for many years. We enjoyed it but didn't get a lot of use out of it. After using it the next day every room would stink. We have a gas fireplace in our familyroom which we use a lot mostly since we only need to push a switch. At first I was not sure if I should go with gas because I like a real flame. We have loved the fireplace wall that we added to our room, this has truly transformed the space. This fire place looks great and has many cool color settings. After a month of use in the winter the heating mechanism started making a rattling noise. We reached out to the manufacturer and received a free replacement part. The replacement did the same, a month or so in, began to rattle. We now just use the fire place for the visual component and only use the space heater when guests aren’t around. ... show more

Installation instructions were not the best, but the install was pretty straight forward. I built an entertainment center and had a hole cut into the 3/4" plywood to install this fireplace. I had to add to the bottom of the hole in order to support the fireplace and to help keep the face of the fireplace parallel with the face of the plywood. The end product is very nice looking and functions properly. It's not going to be primary heat but does add a bit of warmth to the immediate space. The only thing that is a downside is the fan is not unnoticeable (I'm probably being a little greedy), it's not super loud but it also seems a little louder than necessary for how much air it moves. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I had several issues up front. First, i ordered the wrong size and thanks to Amazon making returns easy, I simply returned it and ordered the larger size. The new one came in and some of the flame lights were not working. The seller was amazing and after the troubleshooting didnt work they sent me another one very quickly!! If you’ve ever had trouble with an online order, you know how maddening it can be only to never resolve it! This was the total opposite! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
