Utilizing a DX-format 24.2MP CMOS sensor and EXPEED 4 image processor, the D3500 provides a native sensitivity range from ISO 100-25600 to suit working in a variety of lighting conditions, and the sensor and processor combination also provides a 5 fps continuous shooting rate as well as Full HD 1080p video recording at 60 fps. The sensor's design also omits an optical low-pass filter in order to achieve greater sharpness and resolution from both photos and videos. The D3500 also features SnapBridge, which utilizes Bluetooth connectivity, for wireless sharing of images to your mobile device, including automatic sharing of 2MP images between the camera and your mobile device. The lightweight camera body incorporates a 3.0" 921k-dot LCD screen for live view monitoring and image review. This camera is a great value for an "entry level" camera. Easy to use for a first timer moving away from a cell phone camera, and enough advanced features to keep one going as you learn more. Will be a minute before I grow out of it I'm sure. Already taking fantastic pictures with it, and haven't even moved away from the auto setting yet. Was well packaged and the extras in the bundle are a nice added value, even came with a mini tripod not shown in the description. Very happy with this decision. ... show more

I think this was used or returned and did not have all of the items it should have. No SD card, no manual, and no warranty. Feel like I was ripped off. Update: seller was very helpful in replacing the items that were missing. Still was a bit of a hassle, but my wife loved it once she was actually able to use it (you need an SD card to use it). ... show more

First of all, the camera came broken. They shipped via FedEx, and I used to work there so I wasn't surprised, but the packaging was garbage. Secondly, this is the international model, which means no stateside warranties are honored for it, even though it's the same parts. That was not listed In the description or I would've known not to order it. The lack of transparency leads me to believe it's intentionally misleading. Was really sad to have to send it back because the kit as a whole is very reasonably priced for what you get. ... show more

    • No manual with camera
I register the camera and then Nikon wanted me to pay for their classes on how to use it, I called Nikon and they said they would send me a code to access their classes but that never happened! Good camera but you will have to go to Youtube and learn how to use it.
