I originally got an xs for my 10 month cockapoo puppy (20 lbs) based on the measurement chart, and it did fit but was a little too snug for him to be comfortable walking around so I returned it and got a S which fits perfectly. This has been a huge help and he has not needed a cone. The way the tail hole is still protects his surgery site unlike another brand’s recovery suit I tried and the material is very high quality. It’s really easy to roll up for him to go to the bathroom and the Velcro is very strong and holds it securely. 10/10 recommend!

This suit seems like it would be a great option. Unfortunately for me I did not even open it. We were having problems with him fighting the cone so I thought this would be amazing. Our dog had 2 surgeries at once and the vet said we couldn’t take the cone off because of his mouth surgery. I didn’t want to torture him with a cone and the suit

I love this product! I purchased 3 or 4 different surgical suits for my dog’s surgery. This particular one was recommended by an incredible staff member at my dog’s vet office, who said she used it for her large breed dog as well. This suit is easy to put on, secure, and fits great (I have a 75lb golden). The material also seems comfortable and breathable because my dog has not been fussy while having it on. It also has straps on the neck, which I believe can be secured to the dog’s collar, so it isn’t constantly sliding down. Overall, this suit makes recovery a breeze, and the ultimate alternative to the bulky and seemingly uncomfortable cone of shame. I will never go back again. I only wish that more color options were available, I would have loved a purple or pink option for my dog, but settled on the black colored suit because that was my only option. The lack of color options, however, was not enough to make me take a star away. 5 stars all the way!

I’m only giving it three stars because I had to make alterations for it to work for us. However it really was great after that! We have a large standard poodle 70 lbs so got the extra large one and happy I did! The part where the tail goes is way too long and if using for a neuter they can definitely get to it! After some stitching it was a whole new ball game though. Everybody was saying it takes forever to dry but I dried mine in the dryer no problems at all so his was washed daily and ready next morning.

We got this for our boy, who was being neutered. It is very soft and stretchy, which is nice. The velcro tabs to hook it up in the front for them to go to the bathroom are very nice. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the hole for the tail is so long that it goes too far underneath him, and his sad, empty sack kept hanging out through the hole. I ended up stitching up the bottom half of the tail hole. His tail still has plenty of room and now other parts aren't popping out, his stitches are protected, and he can ditch the cone of shame.

Would give zero starts if I could. Came yesterday. Today it is completely ripped in the front and my dog has been drugged out of his mind to keep him calm for healing after being neutered. This is also advertised as a surgery suit but his ball sack and surgical incision hang out of the tail slit so it doesn't even cover the area needed like advertised. Extremely disappointed is an understatement especially since I can't return it now that it has completely shredded up front. I've used lots of surgery suits and recommended them every day at my job ( vet tech) but I will never recommend this brand again. Total waste of money. Do NOT buy.

I bought this recovery suit for my dog after her spay surgery, and I’m so glad I did. The material is soft, breathable, and stretchy, so she seemed really comfortable in it. It was much better than having her wear a cone, which she absolutely hated. This suit kept her from licking her stitches while still allowing her to move around, lie down, and even go for short walks without any issues. Highly recommend!

Although I followed the size chart, the XS was too big, and then quickly stretched out of shape. I wanted coverage for my dog's skin infection on his torso, to prevent him from licking and scratching the wounds, but the oversize arm openings exposed the portion I was trying to cover. Very light-weight and stretchy, might be better suited for a young larger pup with recent abdominal/neutering surgery. Easy to take on and off with velco. Thin stretchy covering not suitable for our needs.
