If you’re okay with this only lasting a few weeks or months than buy it. Ours died after a few months but it was fun while it lasted. Though I would no rebuy it. I think the key is to not allow your children to play with it unsupervised or else they’ll jump on it and ride it.

Purchased this because husband was tired of getting punched by the boys. It was really fun but lasted about 2 months and now it is deflated. My kids do not take martial arts class. Have not tried to patch or mend it yet.

*UPDATE* I bought this punching bag for my kids for this past Christmas (2022) and by February (2023) there was a hole in it (leaking water). I bought another one and here we are 4 months later and now the 2nd one has a hole in it (leaking air and water). My kids haven't played with it much and when they do they are not overly aggressive with this bag so there's no reason for yet another hole. I refuse to buy a THIRD bag in just 6 months time. That's just absurd. The bag seems great at first but I'm not sure if I'd recommend this punching bag because it doesn't seem to hold up well at all. This is a great punching bag. My 3 kids absolutely love it, especially my oldest who's autistic. He uses it to reduce some stress when he's overstimulated. Definitely read the directions! I totally overlooked the part of adding the water before inflating it so needless to say it wouldn't bounce back like it's supposed to. It was an easy fix though and once doing it the correct way it was perfect. My kids got this for Christmas and have been punching it nonstop since! Would definitely recommend!

I always wonder why people write reviews when they haven't used the product yet! Well, here we go. Out of the box, the material seems sturdy... a bit smelly, but it dissipates quickly in fresh air. I am writing mainly for the quick and courteous customer service. I didn't receive any set up instructions for this punching bag. Found the website, sent an email and within moments received a response with the link for full instruction and clarification that a patch kit is not included. (Which no patch kit isn't a problem. If necessary any patch kit will do.) But this seems well made, thick material and exactly what I was looking for, for my 9 yr old granddaughter's b-day. This get 5 stars today because of customer service. And, in reading other reviews, people rave about the service. That's all I need to know. That, should I have a problem in the future, they are there for me. Will update after we get set up and g-baby goes after it!!! UPDATE: Granddaughter's birthday was a hit!!! Mainly due to this Ninja punching bag! Grandbaby is 9 years old. About 60-65 lbs. Super active with skiing, ice skating, dance, and all other kids activities. Strong little girl. She spent most of her B-Day punching, kicking this bag!!! Held up well with her punishment and went right back at it last night and again this AM. And, after she got rid of all that pent up energy, she was in a great mood and super relaxed. I had sent an email to Emma at Atlasonix in regards to set up and she quickly responded to me and stayed with me until all questions were answered. I can not say enough about this product but most of all the customer service. I had read some less than stellar reviews on this item but keep in mind, we have had NO problems and the fact that you have a wonderful company stand behind this product, willing to make it all right....What more could anyone ask for? Do not hesitate on this one! Would give this company and Emma more than 5 stars, were it possible!!

This arrived yesterday. It assembled easily (I used an air mattress pump) and my 7-year-old was delighted with it. He immediately began in on it - punching and kicking almost without interruption for about two hours straight. And I thought I’d finally found a way for him to take out his boundless energy on something other than his sister... Less than six hours later it had a hole on the top that I’d had to duck tape because it bumped up against an air conditioning vent, and the bottom was leaking water. It’s currently sitting in my tub, completely deflated and slowly draining the water. He and I are both very disappointed, to say the least. I expected better for $40, and the fact that he spent all of his Christmas money on it makes it worse. My son was pretty rough with it, but it’s a punching bag, for crying out loud. It’s supposed to be made to be punched and kicked and generally abused. ****************** UPDATE: After my last review, the business owner quickly contacted me and offered me a full refund AND a free replacement. When the second one arrived we set it up again, with a couple of changes: I swept out the garage (TWICE) to ensure that there was nothing on the floor that could puncture the plastic if it were to land on it, told my son to keep it in the EXACT MIDDLE of the garage so it wouldn't bump up against anything, and filled the bottom with aquarium gravel instead of water. We're on day four or five of having it set up, and so far it's holding up great. He's been pretty rough with it, and so far it's not leaking air or showing much sign of wear and tear. Granted, we're being pretty careful as far as not letting it touch anything other than a well-swept floor, but still. Which has been a godsend, because we are a week into self-quarantining for Coronavirus, and it's been helpful in keeping the my high-energy, extroverted seven-year-old son sane. Hoping it holds up for however long this lasts. Giving the product four stars just because we're having to be so careful with it - other than that I'm very pleased with it this time around.
