I got this for my wife for Christmas and we finally got a chance to fill and hang it. We only put about 50lbs in it but it took the fill well and feels solid. The mounting hardware is solid and was easy to hang from a steal beam in our basement. My only little gripe is I wish this had a loop on the bottom so we could tie it off out of the way when it’s not in use, but it’s not that big an issue. I should mention that this PU leather bag has a nice liner that looks to be satin to keep the material in place. The punching bag set that I purchased is a great set for young middle-aged kids. The punching bag is just the fabric only needs to be filled. I used a bunch of old jeans that I collected amongst our friends. This set is by far not for professionals. This is great for first timers or kids learning moves on the punching bag. This set has a whole ton of value in one inexpensive package. The hand strengthener, jump rope, gloves, pads and mounting equipment alone is easily worth it. Then you add in the rest of the items that it includes and the value is just mounting! Once you get past looking at it for value then you get into the quality of it! It's all pretty stellar!     • Excellent set for beginners
Authentic review! It's interesting that reviewers are complaining that the bag is not filled. That is stated quite clearly in the product description, and I'd imagine this would cost vastly more if it were a filled item. While of course it'd be more convenient if it arrived filled, I actually like that we have the opportunity to fill it the way we wish. Since there are younger folks in our house, we chose to fill it with more of a dense foam-like material instead of sand so it's lighter and easier to work with for a beginner. Meanwhile, I am getting a SERIOUS workout from the speed rope and grip strengthener, both of which are high quality. The grip strengthener in particular is a great item; it has a counter on it and a range of resistance levels; this is not your basic, cheap grip strengthener. I really appreciate that it comes with hand wraps; too many beginners skip the wraps and end up with injuries from using only boxing gloves! The boxing gloves are of average quality. They are tight on my spouse and big on my kids and a little big on me. I have to be honest that I had no idea what the reflex balls were used for, so I looked them up. Turns out you use the (included) harness around your head and then punch them away from you. I'm sure these aren't meant to be used by kids (don't worry, I will hold Amazon and the manufacturer harmless for any injuries!) but man, they are a HIT in my house. Much better than punching your brother, right? Overall, this is a great starter set for a good value. Recommended! ... show more

Bought the bag because it was described as 80lbs, I specifically searched filled bags and this one is not filled. Also after unfolding the bag the printed parts just peel off
