This is my first punching bag, so I don't have anything to compare it to other than what I see on TV/YouTube/etc. That being said, it looks like a decent bag for beginners (perhaps not for seasoned boxers). The bag makes a good impression regarding the manufacturing quality -- all seams look good, and the bag has an inner fabric nylon shell that is very smooth and allows to fill the bag easily. I used a lot of old clothes and fabrics to fill the approx. 48-inch-tall bag -- its diameter is roughly 13 inches. I have not yet reached the 80-pound max. fill weight yet, but it feels already pretty solid and dense. I think I need to compress the clothing a bit more to make it heavier to resist punches and strikes better. Buying an unfilled bag leaves the job to the buyer to fill it accurately -- I filled a previous punching bag with corn, but I found it too dense and hard, the same goes for sand in my opinion. Old clothing is a good alternative and ideally shredded fabric can be a good choice because it makes a denser fill than just throwing whole clothing pieces in. I mention that because it needs time and resources to fill your bag in a way that fits your punching style and weight class. The chain and hooks are medium thickness, but it definitely holds the weight of the bag -- I just compare it to professional gym bags which are made of an overall more heavy-duty quality. This bag is in my opinion a good home-use punching bag, but it cannot be compared with pro level punching bags. This set had everything I wanted including the hardware... The quality of heavy bag is good but not top tier. The 360 rotate hangar Im using currently with another heavy bag and it works great. You'll have to fill the with whatever decide which is easy enough and allows you to customize punch feel and weight.     • Works great, but never had a good experience with PU leather.
I love this bag for the time being, but I've used plenty of PU leather products in the past and most of the time they seem to start to fall apart or flake after just a year. The bag is awesome with all the attachments it's very sturdy and the extra jump rope is a welcome addition. Be warned that you need to fill the bag yourself with whatever material you see fit. I used sand and ripped up old clothes I was going to donate and it feels great. 7/10 I would recommend it. I hope this review is helpful. ... show more

This is a nice kit, comes with pretty much all the basics you’d need to get started. The bag material feels nice and durable but I think it’s a stretch to say it’s for adults, if you’re a beginner on the bag it’s nice a nice size and potential weight. You can beat it. Repeatedly. And it will hold up just fine. The hardware is well-made. The bag material is sturdy and solid. It's a great size for an adult or youth. It seems to be holding up to a couple of beatings a week for at least a handful of weeks by this old fella. So far so good.
