This comes with many accessories, making it a complete set. It has the hanging chains, small gloves, and finger exercise equipment to strengthen your grip and punch. It seems well-made, but only time will tell about its ability to take a punch.

I've had numerous punching bags over the last 30 years and even the best of them - the 5'+ tall, extra-wide versions, made from whole-grain leather - or the heavy-grade canvas bags that you can use until your knuckles and feet bleed (which is the point for some of us), all eventually get destroyed. I've slowly come to the conclusion (from experience and mostly regarding cost here) is that bags like this do well for general use, knowing that the faux-leather will degrade a bit quicker than their higher-end alternatives. Yet at the same time, their affordability cannot be disregarded. I filled my bag (this product - a bit differently than most do) by inserting a long, continuous run of of poly-bag (typically filled with sand and used for water barriers and is about 6" in diameter, packed full). Then I suspend that 44" or so long "tube of sand" from a chain and slide the punch bag casing around it from the bottom, packing it evenly and tightly around with second-hand cotton fabrics (from a thrift store; sold in bulk for rags). This provides a great, nearly-realistic rebound to what it's like to hit a full-sized man (yet in a 4' body bag), who would be standing upright, leaning into you a bit, to better simulate and build up your drive when punching and kicking. Anyhow, once hung, the bag is what I expect for a new, faux-leather casing and I did notice that the supports (that hold the chain rings) is very well stitched, which should allow for a great deal of abuse, without tearing away as many do. As far as the ceiling mount/hook setup, it's fine perhaps for some; the ceiling mount itself is sufficient but the rest of it is lacking in my opinion. I personally prefer a more robust, 360 degree swivel hook chain coupler (the kind that use high-end linear roller bearings), which luckily, I already had mounted and hung this bag upon. The one that is provided is fine I guess but it reminds me of those super simple so-called bearings that you'd find on wooden nunchaku, if you know what I'm talking about. Regarding the MMA-style gloves, they are a bit tight for me and I'm a 200lb, 6' tall guy with what I consider to be normal-sized hands, so take that for what you will. I don't use gloves like this anyways, so I won't speak to how they function, as I wouldn't be a good reference. The jump rope and hand-grip trainer are nice extras. Overall though, despite how it may sound, I'm pleased with this product, as it "is" what I expected at this price point. My last full-grain leather body bag (as reference), cost over six hundred dollars and lasted me 2 years, before I had to re-skin it. So to me, this product is still a win.

To be honest, I had low expectations for this… If it was going to be an “adequate” bag, I was going to be satisfied. But it wasn’t… IT WAS BETTER! I’m really impressed by this entire set. The bag itself is great - it’s an oxford fabric and I think it’s going to last a good long time, especially for the price point. (The inner lining is polyurethane… but I don’t think it’s going to be an issue as its the innermost layer). It’s reinforced in the right places and has some solid gear connecting it. I love that this has a free 360 degree movement. Everything is included that you need to hang this and start… except for the filling of course. That’s kinda an inconvenience, but it’s also an opportunity to decide what kind of bag you need. For me, I’m going to fill it with crushed brick for some soft work. Just kidding of course! haha but sand or clothes or combo will work. I’m not sure what the weight rating is on this, so just proceed with caution and use good judgement. You’ll also get some wraps, some mma gloves, grip strengthener, and a jump rope. As long as you have somewhere to hang your bag, you’ve got everything you need here to work up a good sweat. Super impressed at this value. Get it and be a contender!

I was very impressed with this heavy bag and the associated mounting hardware. I LOVE that you can stuff it with whatever you like as per your needs. I have a sand bag already, as an example, so I’ll go soft but heavy on this one, likely clothes stuffed in tight. The stitching is good and reliable, the sizing is great, and other than stuffing it and mounting it up you have every other thing you need to get started. GREAT IDEA, GREAT EXECUTION.
