I finally got a chance to set up the punching bag after doing some research of what would be good to fill up as the “stuffing”. I decided to recycle some stuff I had in my house that wasn’t being used. I grabbed some grocery bags and filled it up with dirt from renovations and double bagged it before stuffing the punching bag. It filled in nicely. I had also stuffed in some old clothes to give it a slightly softer feel. The tools they provided didn’t seem sturdy enough for me, so I went to Home Depot and got a thicker change to wrap around my gazebo frame. All in all, it’s a very inexpensive way to add this to your gym collection if you don’t mind the slight extra work into stuffing the punch bag.

What i loved about this was that I get to choose the fill and consistency of the bag. Im not looking to win any boxing championships so this is great for me and the kids.

This is a very nice set up. However, just know that it does not come with the filling for the punching bag. So, you will have to go out and purchase the filler separately when you set this up.

If you're just getting into MMA training, or boxing exercise generally, this a decent mid-weight bag to start with. The hardware is substantial and should hold the bag through some rough use without issue. (Just note that you need more than 2 anchor bolts into a standard ceiling joist to hold a heavy bag securely. This bag correctly comes with a 4-anchor mount and most people are going to have to do some ceiling work to hang this, or any, bag safely.) The nylon is good quality and has decent padding -- particularly for a bag at this price. The stitching is looser than I like and even though they've doubled it up, I suspect this will be the weak point after heavy use. The speed rope is good enough to get you started as well. Short version: great starter set, particularly if you're not sure you'll continue and don't want to invest in a more expensive set until you're sure.

This punching bag kit came with everything you need to set one up. As described, it is just the bag so you will have to fill it up yourself. If you don't mind preparing the sand and clothes or your preferred filler, it's a good sturdy cover. I got it to replace an old bag that's been worn out so for me it was easy to move the filling over and prepare this bag. This kit came with everything needed to hang it up securely, and some bonus accessories like a jump rope and handwraps. The texture of the bag isn't quite as nice as some premium punching bags, but tough and should hold up to a lot of use. It was a solid replacement and a new bag is always a nice feeling in the gym.

This punching bag set is good for training and working out. The kit itself includes the punching bag, a steel wire jump rope, support chains, solid steel support bracket for hanging, along with 2 hand wraps that my son and I found very useful. It took us just under an hour or so to set this up and going out of the box, including hanging this up and filling it up with a combination of old rags and a 50 lb bag of sand that we purchased at our local Home Depot. I was impressed with the included heavy duty bolts, nuts and especially the expansion shields for securely hanging this to our wooden beam in our garage. The quality of the punching bag is very good, it’s made of strong fabric, it definitely seems durable enough to be able to withstand intense abuse. So far, we've had this up for about 2 weeks now and have used it 3-4 times already and it's holding up quite well. The included jump rope is a definitely a plus, it has a leather handle grip for added comfort. This is a good starter set for anyone looking to start training or just get a good work out at home, you should be very satisfied with this kit and it's reasonably priced.

The bag is a nice size, both in length and circumference, as you can see from the pictured. So, on the pictures on amazon, it shows it as a what appears to be some kind of leather/ faux leather, its more like a canvas/jean type of material. I thought that it might be a bit rough to punch bare knuckled, but it was surprisingly fine (I did not give it my all though and only used one hand as the other one is broken). It's nice to have everything you need to hang it, all in one package. The hand wraps, are hand wraps, nothing special, and its kind of hard to go wrong with something like that. The jump rope is... ok? Honestly, I've had worse than that, its like a $10 jump rope, but having said that, the rope part is actually quiet good, its pretty easy to jump rope (even with one broken hand), the handles just fail it, I feel like it easily didn't have to be so cheap. Overall, you get a lot for your money with this kit. It's perfect for someone who is starting out and trying martial arts to see if it's something that is for them. Or even for someone with experience that needs a new bag, but doesn't want to pay $100+ for just a bag. It gets a 4.75/5 from me, not a 5/5 just because its not full leather.

Got this for my son to practice on. It's big enough for an adult so we just stuffed it with thick comforters that we had in our garage. Still tough enough to challenge him(5yr).
