Was looking for something low cost but durable for my two young grandsons to burn off some energy. This punching bag is definitely it. It's perfect for their age (3 and 5 years old) as it's adjustable for each of them. So far, seems to be very durable and it gives them the opportunity to also work on their coordination. Easy to store and move around even though I put sand in the base to keep it stable. Would definitely recommend as a beginner punching bag set before making the expense for a larger more expensive bag. I do wish it came with two sets of gloves so I wouldn't have to keep changing the gloves between the two kids but that has nothing to do with the quality of the product. I gifted this to my nieces, and they really enjoyed it! The eldest (5 years old) had a blast punching the bag around. It’s a great size for most kids and easily adjustable, so my younger niece could join in too. Assembly was simple, and my eldest even got to help by pumping air into the bag (pump included). I bought this as a gift and assembled it for my friend's son. The instructions on the box are easy to follow and I was able to assemble in about 10 minutes. My child is older and she played with it, just to test it out. She thought it was a ton of fun, but it is way too small for her. I'd say the sweet spot is 6-7 years old. The gloves aren't great quality but honestly not sure if a little kid needs them. The recoil is great for kids and I think it will be a successful gift! ... show more

My little 4 year old loves this thing. It feels very durable and like it can take some punches. Filling the base with sand provides a very sturdy base for this thing and my kid can hit it as hard as she can and the base doesn't budge. My kid loves the smooth bounce back after she hits it and trying to dodge it coming back in her direction. Great for hand eye coordination and overall body movement and development. Excellent punching bag for kids for the price. It's a very cute toy that the kids loved the moment it was removed from the box. They enjoyed putting it together (for the couple minutes it took) and even more so using it for the week or so they've had it.
