The media could not be loaded. Unboxing this tree I was very nervous that I couldn't decorate it the way I wanted. After fluffing and cleaning up the flocked snow. It turned out beautiful. It's the perfect height for a small apartment and you will not feel slighted . Only 2 pieces, prelit warm lights and it gives plenty of brightness. It's worth the value, it wil shed so be prepared, no smell, a little unstable but I placed the base in a basket and it was immediately stable. Very nice tree. Could use more lights.. there are more at the top than bottom. The flocking not as messy as I thought it would be, so thats a plus. Size is easy to manage as I was working with a 9' tree before. Easy to put together.

The media could not be loaded. I bought the 4 1/2’ version of this tree and now I wish I would have bought a taller one too. For the price, it is a very nice tree. Only a small amount of flock came off when fluffing the tree which was great compared to another tree I returned. There were a good amount of lights and branches. I do wish that the lights twinkled, but I just plan to add a twinkling set on top of existing before I put up for Christmas. I did decorate it today because I wanted to get some ideas with pastel designs. Plus, I love to see reviews where you get a better idea of the branches from close-up pictures. ... show more

This is a beautiful tree. However, the moment we opened the box a strong acrid smell came from the contents. It was so strong that we left it unassembled for a while hoping it would dissipate. Putting it together was easy and it has been up for 24 hours. The smell has not lessened so we are going to set it outside for a day and see if it is any better with sun and air circulation. If the smell does not go away, there is no way we can use this lovely tree. Update: We sprayed the tree with a mist of OdoBan and let that dry. Then we hung pine aroma sticks all along the center of the tree. They come in different Christmas fragrance. These steps this made it possible to keep the tree up. ... show more

I gave it 3 stars because the lights are very yellow. They are not LEDs and the bulbs are covered with the flocking. I’m not sure if it’s the flocking that gives them the yellow glow or because they are incandescent, but I really wish they were the small LED bulb. Trees I put up every year from the tree lot I always use the traditional incandescent white bulbs so I’m used to that glow and never had such a yellow glow. There is a lot of them, which is good, I just wish they weren’t so yellow. Other than that it’s a beautiful tree and was easy to put together. It is very sturdy and well made. I assembled it to make sure it was all there (didn’t want to wait to just before Christmas) took it apart and tried to put back in the box. I’m not sure how much squishing it can take because it’s not fitting in the box! I searched. Long time before deciding on this one and I’m very happy with except for bulbs. I probably should have waited for LEDs. If you like the glow of these bulbs this might be the tree for you as it is nicely made and should last for years. ... show more
