  • Good product, it worked as advertised. I am happy with it.
Size: 68cc 20in+24in
This is a good saw for me. It cranks easy and cuts well. I am a home owner. I am not a logger or arborist so those folks will need a high end commercial saw. I just took down two old large Bradford Pear trees and I needed a 24 inch bar to cut these trees down. Both trees were about 20 inches at the base of the trunk and this saw did the job well for me. A Stihl this size was going to cost me over $850.00 and I think I paid about $204.15 on a limited time special price for this one. Cost savings were huge and I will only use this saw once in a while so this was a good tool purchase for me. I was quoted $1500.00 per tree to get them on the ground. I got both of them down for this great price and a couple days of my labor to process them. I am very happy with choosing this saw and it saved me about $3000.00 to get rid of these two trees myself. Win Win!!! Hope this helps others make better choices, DC ... show more

  • Strong and inexpensive
Size: 62CC 18IN+22IN
Starts every time. Cuts great. I use the 18" blade 'cause I don't really have anything that needs to go bigger. Plenty of power to do what I need to keep my 1.25 acre heavily wooded lot looking good.

  • BUY CHEAP... BUY TWICE!!!
Size: 62CC 18IN+22IN
***UPDATE*** 6/13/2025 After having this saw for a couple years now and using it quite a bit, I realize just how poor quality it is. It really lacks power and doesn't run the greatest most of the time. I have already had to replace the coil because it broke when simply trying to remove the spark plug. Also, you can't just buy a same size chain off the shelf. The Chinaman that designed this saw decided to use a jacked up number of drive teeth so you have to buy their proprietary chains.... not cool!!! They are not cheap... I should say they ARE cheap, just not inexpensive!!! I would stay away from this brand (and all the cheap Chinese saws) Basically, this is just a poor quality cheap Chinese chainsaw. At first, I thought the saw was decent. However, the longevity just isn't there. It began giving me issues about a year into using it. I wish I would have just spent a little more in the first place and got a better saw. Now I ended up paying up for a good saw and am stuck with this boat anchor. Talk about buyer's remorse!!! Not a big fan of buying Chinese stuff... would much rather buy AMERICAN! That being said, for as much as I get to use the saw, I just couldn't justify spending over twice as much for a similar saw not made in china. This saw actually works very well. The chain has stayed quite sharp and had gotten a lot of use. Once in a while the saw wants to die out, but I believe that is due to possible contaminates in the fuel tank (i.e., saw dust, dirt, etc.). Anyhow, the saw works great and I have no complaints. Nice that it comes with two different bar/ chain lengths. ... show more

  • Good value
Size: 62CC 18IN+22IN
I got this Proyama after killing my old husqvarna 435. I thought about getting another 435 or rancher, but decided to try an off-brand for about half the price. The proyama came with both 22" and 18" bars and chains. It came with the basic tools you need to assemble and maintain it. The face shield and ear protection are junk. I liked the little fuel mixing jug that was included. I mixed 40:1 which is what a tag on the saw states. When looking for saws online, I saw a bunch that needed 25:1 which I think is the older spec. My 435 was 50:1 like most of the newer 2-strokes. I'm fine with 40:1 and I'm glad they included a separate mixing jug. The jug is nothing extravagant, but nice little addition. I assembled the saw using the 22" bar. For the type of sawing I do, the 18" would be fine, so I'll keep that as a spare. I followed the starting instructions (5 pulls on full choke, push choke in, and then a couple more easy pulls) and it started right up. I let it warm up for about a minute and started cutting. I had an oak that was fell in December that needed to be bucked. The trunk was about 18 inches in diameter, so it was a good test for the saw. I sawed for maybe 15 minutes and stopped to refill the fuel and chain oil reservoir. I repeated the start procedure and it started right up. It took a total of three tanks to cut up the tree. The saw ran smooth, plenty of power and good cutting the entire time. When I would start running out of fuel, the saw would speed up like it was running lean. A quick stop, refill and back to sawing. Overall, compared to the 435, the finish is not quite as nice. The handle/throttle controls feel a little less refined and the wrap-around-handle is not as nice looking, but overall the saw does what I require. It is adequate and hopefully will hold up for many years of use. Living in a hurricane area, we don't get major storms every year, but when we do it's nice to have a chain saw handy that you know is going to start. ... show more

  • Realy Good saw
Size: 62cc 20in
Assembly was easy, added bar oil to its tank and 40to1 fuel premix. used the vp pre-made premix fuel for the brake in running. Set the choke, ignition switch on pumped the fuel prime till it was full of fuel. Pulled the start cord 3 times and it popped off then died. Squeezed the throttle to release the choke Pulled the start cord and on second pull fired up and idled perfectly. Let it idle for a bit, throttled it up a couple of times then idle a few times. Turned it off did this 4 times and every time it fired off and ran on the first pull and idled perfectly fine. adjusted the chain again and went and cut up a big stump I need gone. The chain is sharp, cuts extremely well but did stretch a lot. End up adjusting it 5 times before it really stopped stretching. It did stay sharp. It comes with a roller tip bar, definitely pluss. The saw runs unbelievable well and strong for such a inexpensive saw. I dare say as good as my German made early 70s Stihl 028 wood boss. It did impress me. The plastic is ok and it all looks and fit well, but time will tell how it holds up. It came with a chain and bar cover a file for the chain tools for all your adjustments and a fuel premixing jug, and a soft carrying case. If you looking for a inexpensive saw and your using it for occasional use, its definitely the saw to look at. ... show more

  • Customer Service Was Good
Size: 62CC 18IN+22IN
The facemask headpiece was broken on arrival. Customer service offered a replacement or a payment to buy another mask. They were quick to answer by email. The saw works OK and it is worth the price they charge.

  • Fantastic customer service - I highly recommend this saw and company.
Had a problem with starting after first use. Contacted customer service and advised of the issue. Within a few hours, they sent an email with step-by-step photo/instructions on how to unflood the engine. I followed the instructions, and the saw started up on the first pull. Used it for a bit, shut it down and restarted after about 15 minutes and it started on the first pull again. I have to say that this is the best customer service I ever had regarding a purchase. The saw is fantastic. Easy to handle and cuts like butter. I would definitely recommend this saw. ... show more

  • Do not buy this saw unless you can troubleshoot and repair/replace parts at opening
Size: 62CC 18IN+22IN
Do not buy this saw unless you want to roll the dice. I have several saws and this was bought as a backup. I am currently in the middle of logging my farm and decided to get this as backup for bucking some junk wood instead of putting hrs on my Stihls or husqys. This item arrived and was expected to be as cheaply built as it was but no ability to get it to fire at all. Took it apart and it definitely has a bad ignition pack as no spark is making it to the plug. This is apparently a very. Common issue to get with a lot of these new from proyamas according to reviews for other purchasers. If you want to roll the dice go for it - or just spend the extra money and get something well built. Disappointed in proyama but thankful for Amazon customer service who acknowledged that this saw is not built well and issued a refund when they can't take it back since gas was in it. Edit - I was able to troubleshoot the saw for a few hrs and found that the ignition pack was not correctly gapped (needed to loosen and pull to closer tolerances), the Killswitch blade connector was not correctly attached and may have had a short due to it. The pull chord was also wrapped outside the pulley one revolution and never let a full stoke occur. These 3 things together made troubleshooting very difficult and not as simple as it typically is as I would find one fix it and assume all was well etc... These are quality control issues that need to be corrected and addressed asap by the company. ... show more
