This baby is built like a real stove top. It's very large, so be aware of its footprint before buying! We purchased it for a second back-up in my home, but also a replacement in my motorhome. It has a simple screw-on hose to propane tank, so it's easy to remove and put away after use. It's fairly heavy, so take that into consideration. It also comes with spare knob parts which is nice. After looking at several stove tops, we decided on this one because you get a real stove top in stead of a camp stove for the same amount of money. It's easy to clean and looks very classy. Being propane, it heats up immediately, and it also cools down immediately. It's easy to use, just like a regular stove. You'll enjoy this one!

[I had complaints about the stove description and quality at first. The company reached out to thank me for bringing the issues to their attention and have offered to send a replacement stove. The replacement arrived very quickly and works perfectly. The seller was proactive and communication with then was swift and easy. [ FIRST IMPRESSION review before even lighting the stove. I'll update a few times, no doubt.. This single-burner stovetop is for me to use during frequent power outages now that I no longer have a gas stove in the kitchen. This one was chosen because it specifically stated that it can be used indoors for this purpose. The glass top is easy to keep clean and it is nice looking. The reason this one was chosen over another very close contender was because this one had brass burners. WRONG. The burners are the same rough cast iron as cheaper stoves - which have been PAINTED brass-color! This felt dishonest and gave a poor first impression. The stove is powerful and capable of boiling water very quickly; the large outer ring can be shut off by turning all the way "on" so that the small inner burner can be used as a simmer burner. The grate holds the pot high above the flame which increased the time to boil when outside in a breeze. The included star-shape wire grate allows a smaller pot to be used - 6" is the smallest safe size but when using that small a pot, it would be best to use just the inner burner ring or the handle of the pot or kettle will get too hot. The cooktop works well and the seller was very responsive to my complaint. The black enameled grate that holds the pot was chipped during shipping. It is a very small chip and does not affect use, but that part could use a bit more protection in the box.
