It's overkill for the purpose I use it for; I use the swivel between two locking carabiners, one end attached to the belt and one attached to two flexible, short leashes for our dogs that can't be trusted off of the leash. Hands-free, and stronger than a typical leash that is made for two dogs could ever be! While I can't attest to the strength of the product due to my setup, it's certainly quality designed and is very smooth when it rotates with the internal bearing. Thanks! ... show more

I bought these swivels for my Total Gym. They allow for the handles for freely rotate without twisting the cable. Twisting cable connectors like these can cause damage to machine. They look nice, swivel freely, and have shown zero signs of wear after a few months of use. If you're using larger weight lifting carabiners, the swivel fits within the large end of the Carabiner leaving the small land for your attachment. See photo for example. ... show more

I needed an easy solution so I could walk my dogs while pushing a stroller. I wanted to make sure that I had both hands free so I could keep control of the stroller. Running while holding a leash was also not great. My solution was to just attach their leashes to a belt. I found some 1 inch tubular nylon webbing in my garage, tied a bite onto each end and hooked on a @blackdiamond carabiner. It was simple enough and for the most part worked. The problem I ran into was the dog leashes kept tangling. The easy solution to this was to use a PROND swivel device. They make some quality equipment and have a store on @amazon.
