Having a disabled husband who falls frequently we bought a hydraulic lift and this sling to help him up. We tried it out on my son and it works well. Since they are both tall it fits them. Not sure about a short person. We hope we won’t have to use it but it’s cheaper than calling an emergency team to help

I really like this product. Very strong, great mesh material very comfortable and supportive. Works with my Drive lift very well. So much easier than 3 or transfers between toileting and showering or bathing. NEVER pull out from under patient without patient assistance can cause friction burns if you do so. Cording around sling it taught and pulls on the patient’s skin. Be sure to manage patient position BEFORE removing sling.

I bought this for my mother who is in an assisted living facility. The great thing about this sling is that it comes with instructions which I've left for the aids working with her- I guess they don't really get much training for the hoyer lift, so this really helps!

This product was necessary for my sisters comfort. We had a lift to move her around but needed the 2nd sling in case of accidents and needed washed. My sister was not a lightweight (200+) and this sling handled her with no issues. We would put it in the washer and then let it drip dry (It is nylon). I highly recommend this product. Sadly, my sister passed on last year so we donated the lift and slings to the next person in need. FYI, no one wants used medical equipment.
