Yet it's a nice hardshell case that zips and unzips easily and way more storage than what I thought. Three net pockets for cables and nibs and on the right side ample room for pencil storage. The case is exactly what I needed and expected. It's beautiful and has plenty of space for my pen, charger, pen tips, etc. Honestly, my favorite part is the zippers. They don't snag and it isn't hard to close despite me fitting a lot of stuff in it. It's a great quality product. I highly recommend.

I had a gen 1 and now a gen 2 Apple Pencil, and always wondered why Apple sold Pencil tips because I had never experienced issues with it, so never had to replace the tips. Recently the tip on my Pencil did get bent in a backpack, so the iPad would not recognize it; so I did have to buy more tips. Anyways, long story short, it was annoying not having my pencil for a few days, so I figured I’d get this little case to keep it safe. It is pretty roomy, so I do carry the Pencil in there, along with the extra tips, a USB flash drive, a 3-foot USB-C cable, a regular pen, and sometimes even extras like paper clips or my earbuds - so the case is proving to be pretty handy. It does have little pockets where one can stick smaller objects, like I use one little pocket for the tips, and another for the USB flash drive. If one thing could be improved on the case - I’d suggest maybe adding a zippered pocket to safely hold things like the tips, coins, or anything like that. Anyways, design is nice, it’s well made, and fits lots of small things - it’s made of a soft to the ouch material; but, can take impacts, so I’m sure anything I stick into the case would be safe and secure. ... show more

I have not had the pouch long enough to test its durability yet. Hence the 3 stars. However, If I do not overload it as I sometimes do with bags and if I handle it with respect, it may come up in the rankings. I like a device in which form follows function. This holds my Apple Pencil 1 and some non electronic styli from the sources. Straps and loops are placed in good positions to hold the various tools in place. The two halves of the pouch are deep enough to hold styli and close without them being pressed against each other. Or, you have room for a cord in the lid half and can close the pouch without crowding. The meshing one end of the lid forms two small pockets that will allow a small item to be held in place. The pouch should be able to drop into a small messenger bag or medium purse with no crowding. A backpack of course has more room. I can grip it with a tablet (electronic or paper) without difficulty. The zipper tabs have pull cords attached. That is always nice to see. All in all I am pleased with the quality and price combination. Oh, I purchased the plain black pouch. I purchased a glass dip pen here on Amazon, and it did not come in a box. How it survived shipping is beyond me. I don't want to take chances of dropping it and having it shatter, so I bought this case. It matches the handle on the pen very nicely. And with the elastic on the inside, it won't slide about in the box. The outside is hard enough to keep it from getting crushed and it will cushion any accidental tumbles to the floor. Would buy one again if I had another glass pen that I need to protect. ... show more
