Kind of a piece of crap but you get what you pay for, the C shaped part was visibly warped when it arrived, and not from any physical trauma, just bad QC. It work, is accurate enough, and it was cheap so I can't complain too much.

  • Cheap but it works.
The spring is very weak. The plunger doesn't move very smoothly and needs "help" to extend. You get what you pay for.

I was hoping for more, but i have to remember that you get what you pay for. This was the cheapest stretch gauge that I could find. This tool might be just fine for most, but it was awkward for me to use. The frame was barely long enough to facilitate the rod bolts that I was working with. My recommendation is to spend the extra bucks and get a quality tool. This one is good in a pinch, but is a real pain to use. ... show more
