It works better . just make sure you put clean filters in each week , or every few times of swimming, it does its job, and pulls debris out of the water, making the filters fill up fast.

Bought this to replace my bestway pump that just quit working. So far this works good and doesn't need a timer. It stays running as long as its plugged in which is nice so you don't have to reset the timer all the time.

Do not waste your money. I have had multiple filters of this sort, and this is by far the worst. No matter what you do, the filter will not prime correctly. The flow is extremely weak, much weaker than my last 100gph filter by BestWay. It is extremely noisy. The fasteners it comes with for the pipes do not work well and will need to be replaced. Extremely disappointed. I will not be buying any other products from this brand. I will stick with BestWay from now on.

This pump is a great choice for small above-ground or inflatable pools. It delivers strong water flow and does an excellent job keeping the water moving and clean. At 1000 GPH, it moves a lot of water quickly, which helps maintain better circulation and improved clarity—especially important in smaller pools that can get murky fast without a good pump. It's particularly well-suited for little blow-up pools, where a larger system might be overkill. Setup is generally straightforward, but priming the pump can be a bit tricky the first time. I recommend using a garden hose to fill the inlet line to help it get started—this trick made a big difference for me. The included hose is a bit on the short side, so depending on your setup, you may want to plan for an extension or a different placement. That said, once it's running, the pump is reliable and relatively quiet. Overall, it’s a solid and efficient pump for the price, and a great upgrade if you're trying to improve water circulation in smaller backyard pools. Definitely a worthwhile buy if you want better water quality without spending a ton.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Bought this pump to replace the one that came with my above ground pool after it crapped out less than a year. Its nearly DOUBLE the strength to filter and sooo worth it. I have a sprayer/fountain head on the return side and it's 2x the strength and moves water soo much better than the stock one! Highly recommend! I'm happy it came with new hoses too as the ones mine came with started to leak!

Works okay! Not the best pump, it makes some noise and will leak here and there. Works really good to help clean the pool! Sucks really nicely! Good power! Dose seem on the cheap side. Would buy a different pump next time.

Good price fitted right up I didn’t use all the plastic clamps they gave me did use some worm clamps but the filter and pump got lots of power and cleans our pool very good I don’t think it’s to loud and for a 9ft 26inch deep kids pool pump suction power and capacity definitely moves the water around
