Well pleased by these stools. They look great, and the swivel feature works well. This was just what we were looking for. The installation was a bit tedious primarily because the hex key used to tighten the fasteners was a bit longer than I would have liked. In close quarters, a lot of quarter-to-half turns were required to tighten the connections. That added greatly to the assembly time. The instructions were thorough and accurate. The diagrams were precise and the required fasteners and washers were all neatly packaged and labelled for ease of identification. Spare parts were also provided but in this case not needed. Note the stool seat is about 16 inches in diameter. This is what we were looking for since space was a concern but some might think this is too small.

The chairs are very nice and comfortable. They were easily assembled, and the instructions were easy to follow. I have an issue with the provided tape for the chair legs (used to prevent scratches on the floor). They are a great idea, but a different material should have been used. My floors are made of wood, so using the tape helps limit scratches. However, once seated, some movements make the chairs slide. Twice, family members have fallen because of the chair(s) sliding beneath them. A family member was injured when his chair slid. I want a safer material to be used to prevent additional injuries. Otherwise, they are great chairs.

These bar stools are a great value and I am very happy with them. The look good and the seat cushion is well made. They are rated for over 300 pounds, which is good because I have some heavier guests, though the seat itself is on the smaller side, so they may not be super comfortable for a large person. I’m short, and have short legs, and I wish that the cushion extended just a bit further under my legs for support. That said, they are just fine for hanging out in the kitchen and very stable. The colors are as I expected and the material is well made. The seat is very firm; which I find a good long-term attribute. I think they will hold up well. I assembled all 4 stools myself and did not need help from a stronger person to do it. There are some challenges that you need to work through on the first stool; definitely follow the directions about not tightening the legs all the way until the entire chair is assembled. But, the directions suggest half-way and that is over-kill. Leave them a little loose instead and the stool will be easier to manage. The hardest part is finding a way to screw on the back. I set the seat on my dining room table with the chair back on a dining room chair and found that it works best to start all 4 screws into the back a little (the directions say do the middle two first), then tighten the middle two screws, then do the outside screws. The back curves around the seat and the outside screws are at a little bit of an angle until the middle screws are tightened. But I found if I screwed the middle screws in first, I wasn’t guaranteed that the holes would line up for the outside screws, hence starting all 4, at least a little. In hindsight, a helper might have been nice, but I did it. This wasn’t much harder than any of the other furniture that I’ve assembled and the product is much nicer. The hardware is well made and they provided a spare set of all the fittings.

These are really nice bar stools. Hubby put together pretty easy with HIS tools. Be careful as one of the screws went all the way thru the back bottom of the wood under the seat and we had to use a black marker to hide it. They swivel very easy, two of them are VERY wobbly so we have to pad one of the legs one each one. The tape for the bottoms is pretty much useless. We used felt pads that worked much better. Perfect height for our island and nice seat padding. After posting my review the seller reached it to me offering a refund or replacement which we declined as our issues are very minimal and fixable so I believe SHOULD one have any problems you can expect GREAT customer service and for that I changed my stars from 4 to a 5 as you just don’t find this type of customer service today! We really do love our chairs.

Probably one of the best things I have ever bought of Amazon! These stools were “recommended” by Amazon and although I wasn’t sure if the style, I bought them and they’re great. Took an hour to build but directions were very clear. They feel solid. Great quality and look expensive. Odor when I unpacked them that was unpleasant but went away. You won’t regret these.
