Needed to replace a fence after recent. Hurricane didn't feel like doing it with post. All diggers, so for the price I took a chance. it was well worth it. Carburetor cover was broken and it's a little hard starting, but once it gets going man, this thing has got some torque. And runs well Nearly ripped my arm off at one point highly recommend.

I had a defective auger that would not start after several attempts and carefully following directions. I contacted and notified the seller for a refund or replacement. They worked with me quickly and I did not have to wait long. They sent me a new auger and told me donโt bother sending the old one back since it was defective. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

The reason for the 4 star is that the air cleaner filter cover arrived broken and failed to stay on. I had to purchase a longer screw and a washer to repair it. It seems to be holding together for now. Although warned in other reviews and be the seller to check the bolts holding things together, everything seemed to be ok. I checked both before and after use. The starter cord was a little difficult to pull at first but when it worked the thing started right up. Let it warm up a little before using it. Relatively easy to operate. I was worried but it does not turn until you rev it and then is easy to control the speed. I hit a rock in a hole but I simply let go of the handle and throttle and it spun a little and then stopped. No problem but I had to go around the rock. Overall it worked good and so much quicker and easier than digging by hand. Other than the air filter cover it seems to be decent quality and it arrived with three size augers as well as three extensions that I needed.

This bad boy made it home in perfect condition 3 weeks ago, finally I tried it to got some termite traps and fence post, I can't complain worked great ๐ started right away high torque etc.... came with 3 extensions and bits with 3 different sizes. If you really reading this review, just go ahead and by it, I do recommend 50:1 mix tho, runs much better.

Purchased this auger 08/26/2023. Arrived timely and packaged well. Appeared to be a well made auger with 3 extension bars and 3 different size bits. This is why the review is 2 stars and not 1 star. Started the 50 post fence installation job on 09/25/2023 once I had 2 extra helpers available. First 2 post holes went well and went to start 3rd post hole but auger would not stop rotation when trigger was released. Kill switch on trigger would not stop the auger. Took 3 of us to hold auger and pull wires from motor to kill the unit. I had one week with the helpers to get this project completed, so had to run to local hardware store to by a Earthquake E43 auger. I submitted a return request to Amazon which was accepted along with a UPS label. UPS would not take the unit due to possible hazardous material (fuel had been run through the unit) issue. Contacted the seller and got the following message: "Sep 27, 2023 8:45 PM - Thanks for the pictures, the switch on the machine is broken. We would like to send you a new switch. It will take about 20 days for you to receive it (our country has an 8-day holiday starting tomorrow, so it will take about 20 days for you to receive it), and we will give you 30 US dollars as compensation. Can you accept it?" Not really excited about waiting 20 days because China is having a 8 day holiday, not really excited about receiving a replacement switch as my confidence in the switch design itself diminished greatly when the 1st one only lasted 2 holes, and not thrilled with $30 US dollar refund after having to go spend an additional $425 on a new auger, extension bar and 10" bit to keep the project moving forward. Should have bought the Earthquake unit to begin with and not have to deal with knowing I spent $199 with this auger (that's $99.50 cost per hole dug).
