This is a beautiful chair and the seat depth fits my petite mom very well. Her previous chair was almost 21” deep and the back reclined with the footrest. This caused her to be nearly laying down in it and was causing her so much neck pain and a struggle to get in and out of. This chairs seat depth is 18” and the footrest raises separately from the backrest, it has heat in the shoulders, back and seat areas, and can lay flat if she wanted to. It’s incredibly comfortable to sit in for long periods of time if needed. The headrest is adjustable on its own separate from the footrest. She’s only 5’, probably shorter since we shrink as we age, so having a flat headrest is important if you struggle with neck issues like she does. Those poofy headrests just aggravate neck issues by pushing your head forward when you’re short. The cup holder does not hold her tall skinny mug, it needs to be either skinnier or wider to sit flat so I’ll have to find something for her to make that work. It also has a phone holder but she doesn’t have a phone so I tried my iPhone 17 in it with my case on and it’s too wide to fit but this is a bigger iPhone so any of the older phones would work. It also has a usb port in the end of the reclining control which is strange to me, I think in the phone holder would have been better. These things are not a deal breaker though. This may not show up as a verified purchase because my brother ordered it for her, but it’s a legit purchase and in my home for my elderly mother. ... show more
