The mitt works great for the body of my 7 pound dog but for her face I have to use a wash cloth or paper towel with the dry shampoo. Great for cold weather or a quick touch up between regular baths.

I rarely write reviews but this one warrants a review. This dry shampoo and drying cloth was just what my dog needed after a few days of smelling like dead chicken (I assume it is the smell of his food.) Anyhow, i put it on and buffed him and not only did he look cleaner, he smelled better too. He didn't mind the process too much either though he ran out of patience towards the very end. He smells like visited a spa and I LOVE IT!!!!!! ... show more

    • my dog is hydrophobic, so this is how i bathe her
the shampoo has an innocuous scent, which doesn't bother me. it works on my dog's dry skin. it helps to use before i brush her out, i get much more of her shedding out that way. most importantly, it doesn't bother my dog.

The liquid was fabulous. I never used the mitt for my cocker spaniels. Good if you can’t get your pups in for a week to remove the stink.
