The pad was perfect. I put it on top of my regular mattress pad and it was a good fit. I put the bottom sheet on top of it made my bed and tested it overnight. I couldn't tell it was there!

TLDR: if you don't have a thick mattress and only care about waterproof efficacy, still 5-stars. If you've been a Meritlife buyer for years, you may not like their changes. I've ordered Meritlife mattresses protectors multiple times since 2021. They've been 100% effective on waterproof, and I only replace them when I move and want a stain-free cover. I had never had an issue with them fitting my mattress until this year. It seems they've shrunk in depth and am unhappy to see this change. It made it super-tight to get on. They're still quality waterproof, but I'm thinking of getting a new padded mattress topper because current is a couple years old and getting flat...I doubt Meritlife will be able to fit over a new one.

This is the best mattress cover that I have ever had. When I was sick I messed in the bed (number 1 & 2) while asleep also sweating a lot. When I removed the sheet I saw the stains on mattress cover but they never made it threw the mattress cover. This saved my 1 yr. old mattress staining up.
