Impressed so far. Have not used it for much, but I did hook it up and use a USB charger to recharge some AAA batteries. Lots of adapters come with this for various connection types. I was able to run a 5W USB powered fan with it also.

This solar panel seems well made, though I was only able to test it briefly. Hoping to test it longer soon and use it to charge my small battery packs.

On a bright day, I've recharged all my items, laptops, Powerbanks, Cell phones, and speakers. Folds up nice and supper convenient. I can see getting more for my sons.

A little heartbroken that this solar panel does not charge through window glass, to charge requires direct sunlight. Its a complete bummer because in an emergency you don't want people to see you have a solar generator because this requires direct sunlight without any obstructions like a pane of glass you will have to let people know you have solar power in emergencies. I would have given 5 stars if the solar panel could charge a solar generator indoors, it does charge outdoors but its not ideal.

This is a "first impressions" review. I hope to update this when we have more experience with the unit. Pros: - Folds fairly compact. - DC output seems to be a little higher than rated. I recorded 35W output with a light level of 760W/m², which puts this 40W unit roughly in the 45W range. - Assortment of DC connector tips is impressive. - The manufacturer bothered to embroider its logo on the product - that doesn't impact functionality, but it's an extra step they didn't have to do (could have just screen printed it). - A storage pouch is provided, and its zipper appears modestly dust/rain resistant. - It appeared to work well with our Jackery 240. - The four parallel small panels allow the unit to handle partial shade better than one large panel would. - The USB splitter cable (USB C, micro USB, and lightning) is a nice extra. Cons: - I'm concerned that the wiring interconnecting the four folding panels may not hold up well (this problem isn't unique to this unit, however...). This is my biggest concern, and is why I rated this 4 stars instead of 5. We'll see how it holds up, and I intend to update this review after some use. - The panel joints are somewhat floppy, meaning the unit would ideally need to be propped up (to keep it perpendicular to the sunlight) at more than one point. - If you're looking for light weight, there may be better options. This one seems more set up for convenience than weight savings. - The coarse fabric tends to get dirty easily.
