If you’re considering the Aden + Anais swaddle or the similar-looking SwaddleMe brand, go for the Aden + Anais! For my first baby we used the SwaddleMe brand, and while it did get the job done, I had some issues. The fabric got stretched out quickly, so after a while we couldn’t get the swaddle tight enough (the spots where the Velcro is supposed to stick didn’t match up anymore) and baby could sometimes escape. Also the Velcro seemed to lose its sticking power after some washes, and it’s the rough Velcro, so it irritated baby’s skin if it came in contact by accident. Plus, at least on the original SwaddleMe design, there was no bottom zipper for diaper changes. Fast forward to baby number 2, and I got these. 100% of issues solved. They are basically the same price, so I say go with these! ... show more

I love that this is much better than a normal fabric wrap for sleep, my baby was like Houdini, always getting his arms out of the traditional fabric wraps no matter how I wrapped him and would sometimes startle himself awake from noises. With this wrap I'm able to snuggle him asleep without him doing that with his arms and change him without fully unwrapping him. He is still able to stick his little hands out from the middle between the fabric sometimes after i pick him up for something but it's not anything harmful. Very great product and I highly recommend it wish I got this sooner. Not all brands have the zipper at the bottom for changing. ... show more

I really liked these at first, but then I realized that as my 2 month old (Preemie) baby's legs grew longer he had absolutely no leg room and could not bend his legs up enough to make all of his digestion movements properly...It just trapped his legs in a straight position, and he would start crying while trying to bend them. They also shrink very quickly and the velcro is pretty loud and wakes him up sometimes. But like I said, for the first month or so, until he was about 21' and 8 pounds, he slept in these very well. ... show more

These are great! Our son is long so I wish they were a little bit longer considering he’s not even two months yet, but the zipper is great for late night diaper changers. If the length was longer I’d give 5 stars but he gets mad cuz his legs can’t stretch (we stopped using them)
