Cool costume but not worth the money - The muscle chest made it hard for my husband to move around. We had to cut at least 2" off of the neck because the foam was too hard and anytime to he bent down it cut into his throat. By the end of the night, the costume had popped apart in many areas. This was a good price option but be prepared to buy some navy shorts to wear over it haha. Way too tight on the male junk area. Bat ears a little droopy. But worked out fine.

I would post a picture, but my husband was left with a double wedgie! I couldn't stop laughing but it did run a small. He's normally a medium, but this was made for a teenage boy body type medium. The length fit well but the frame of the hip area was tight and seemed short. For reference his shirts are a medium and his pants are 32x34. The packaging was already opened and the muscles for the abs looked like they were just stuffed in the package and they're made from a flimsy plastic, so it kinda stayed that way when he put the costume on. The arm muscles looked like someone balled up cotton and shoved it in there. You'd have to mess with it to stretch it out and look decent. The neck on the mask was really loose. Definitely returning! We were excited but now disappointed especially for the amount of money you pay for a costume. ... show more

My husband is 5’10 and the medium was too short for him despite the description and review. The head piece fits loose and the bat ears don’t stay up. The chest is plastic and hollow not soft and pillowy. Overall material quality was good and costume would’ve fit nicely if size up was chosen.

After looking through the sizing chart, if you are close to the upper end of one size, I'd recommend buying the next size up. The material is fairly thin so I'd also look into some thinsulate long underware, especially if going outside in this thing. The torso, arms, legs and 'boots' are all one piece. You get into it like an evening gown, through the back where there are 4 velcro tabs for closure. The 'boots' are open on the bottom with elastic bands on each for placing over your socks, then inside shoes (think baseball uniform leggings). The muscle chest is a thin shapped piece of foam and gives a fairly good effect. The belt is a formed piece of plastic that is tied around the back. The cowl is a combination fabric/foam piece that secures under the chin with a velcro tab; same with the cape. I recommend taking everything out of the packaging and hanging up to get all the creases out and mess with the ears to get them to stick out away from the cowel. I may use some stripped twist-ties threaded through the middle of the ears to get them where they should be. ... show more

The costume is simple and looks good but there are a few points I wish I had known beforehand - If you're going to an event or party, there's no zipper and no pockets on this costume. I carried my wallet, keys, and phone in the pants I wore under. There's no easy way to access them once your costume is on. If you have to go to the bathroom, you'll have to pull the whole costume off or below your belt and fold it behind your legs to use the urinal. I got a medium counting on this costume running small because I'm a little bigger than a small. However, it felt too big. The muscle chest feels clumsy and oversized with the pecs laying over your shoulders. I think the small would have worked for me (My chest is a 36.5) The cowl felt a little oversized under my chin. I ended up tying it on instead of using the velcro. Overall though, it's a good costume for the price. ... show more
