I've had constant daily pain for at least 6 years from a herniated disc that caused nerve damage down my leg into my foot and the PowerStep Pinnacle Maxx have helped the pain in my back a lot. My foot overpronates on the nerve damaged side so these insoles have made a big difference by helping to correct that overpronation and relieve some of the pain in my lower back. I've only been using them a month so I'm hoping it gets even better with more use. I am concerned that the insoles will not last long because I just purchased another pair and compared them to the ones I bought a month ago and there is already some significant wear to them. I have medium-high arches and these seem to be just fine. I may try the high arch insoles one day but this brand of insoles are a little expensive so I will stick with what I have for now. The size 8 - 8.5 in womens are definitely made more for the 8.5 size shoe. I normally wear an 8 so they need to be cut down but I wear them in Skechers GoWalk Joy and they run big as well so they fit ok without trimming them. Size 8 is quite popular so I would think the insoles would have been more catered to the 8 than the 8.5. Love these. I stand on concrete for 2+ hours at time in the same spot, so good support is a major requirement. These have helped my feet on 12 hour shifts not be so sore at the end of the day. The arch support is high than normal shoes so it feels odd but this is how all shoes should be to begin with. I will probably by another set and my wife a set as well. They really take the pressure off your heels and they do take some time to get use to but for me it is well worth it! They work very well for over pronation. I was diagnosed with over pronation 29 years ago and have had various custom orthotics ever since. This is the first non-custom orthotic I've tried that actually works for me. My first pair lasted almost a year. Very durable; I wear them daily for my 3 mile walks. These work well for neutral arches. The heel is squared so it locks your ankle and helps keep your ankle from rolling over. First timers will need to get used to this. Orthotics tend to take up a considerable amount of shoe space. I tend to get shoes a half size large to accommodate them.

These are fine. The arch support is good and high. But the arch is too far back compared to my where my own arch is on my foot. Other insoles have had the arch too far forward for me, so obviously trying on insoles is a good idea. I chose these because they said they have maximum cushioning, but I'd like more cushioning in the front of the foot for my feet because they've been hurting in the front. ... show more

I've used the protech control inserts for years. I went for these because they were quite a bit cheaper and I just couldn't afford the protech controls right now. I've had these for about 4 months now I think? They haven't held up as well as the protech controls, nor do they offer as much in the way of pain relief. However, if you can't afford the protech controls and are looking for something that will still help, these will do. They offer a decent amount of support and pain relief, and if I didn't have the protech controls to compare them to, I'd say they were really good. ... show more

I have a lot of shoes but the heels of these insoles are thick and they raise my foot too high in the shoes. I will continue to try to use them but it's a bit disappointing. I have a lot of shoes and so far they don't work well in any of them.
