My family member has dementia and has trouble with the phone. This was easy to set up for him. He doesn’t get into the menu and change things on this one and can get it on and off. We didn't even have this phone a month, it didn't work right and then it started going crazy. It cut off calls, did some odd messaging, etc. We took it out, put our old phones back and they worked fine. I called the Vtech support and they weren't very helpful and kept putting me on hold.

I found this desk and cordless phone set hard to set up. I had to call customer service and the lady was very patient and walk me through the whole process. Even now when I’m on the phone I have to keep either turning the volume up or volume down. It doesn’t seem to be inconsistent and hard to see if any phone calls came in unless you press a button to light up the base. ... show more
