  • Excellent purchase!
Style: 9070 XT 16GB Red Devil Spectral Limited
Excellent, Cool and quite card! Runs any game smoothly while sipping very little power and barely braking a sweat. All white system with Ryzen 7 9700X + 64GB 6000C28 ram We could say this system is a wolf in sheep clothing. No driver issues No games crashing A little picky about DP cables , but most high end cards are. Only thing I’d like better is price being 100-150 less ... show more

  • Awesome gpu, particularly for Steam on Linux gaming.
Style: 9070 XT 16GB Hellhound
PC gaming on Linux has come a long way. I'm running Fedora 42, and this card runs steam games perfectly with ps4 and ps5 controllers. I've completed Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle with no issues at all. Steam does have one configuration issue - my PC has an integrated GPU (Ryzen 9 9950x), and I can't get Steam to use the discrete card unless I disable the integrated gpu in BIOS (advanced -> advanced -> Integrated Graphics Configuration -> Integrated Graphics and Hybrid graphics - disabled). Then it works perfectly. In terms of performance, this is a big upgrade from my old RX 7600. A game that ran 10 fps on the integrated, and 70 fps on the RX 7600, ran over 170 fps on this card. And that's with the card's bios set to "quiet" mode. I don't really care for the "ice blue" leds, but they are easy to turn off with their hardware switch. pros: - fast - quiet - works out of the box with Linux and Steam - fits my full tower case (which will not fit any of the XFX monsters) - only needs 2 pcie power lines (not three like most of the competitors) cons: - the price is high and varies all over the place - I got it for $750, which is a good deal. ... show more

  • A budget champ for the right user!
Style: 9060 XT 8GB Reaper
People are hating on this card because only 8GB of VRAM and because some sellers are marking them way up, but for my use, this was an awesome purchase. I have a mildly upgraded Dell OptiPlex 5080 i7 tower I scored for basically nothing used that I've added larger SSDs and more RAM to, upgraded to a 380w PSU, and installed an old EVGA GTX 1660 in that I use to play games on my TV. I've started seeing some newer games stutter a bit lately at 1080P so I started looking into fairly available, reasonably priced video cards that would fit into this case. This new Powercolor Reaper card was within a few mm in every dimension of the old card and actually was a bit slimmer at 2-slots (the 1660 is a 2.5-slot design that had fitment issues in the Dell), so I snagged one. It arrived 3-4 days earlier than originally estimated, and it's working great! With all the new features the old card didn't support like upscaling and framegen, I can easily run games at 1440P with much faster performance than the old 1660 got at 1080P. Unless you really need to run games at 4k, this is a fast, compact GPU that makes an excellent upgrade for situations where size, cost, and desired resolution favor it. Plus, I have the option now to load up Bazzite (or maybe even the official SteamOS image) since AMD works so much better with Gamescope on Linux. Definitely a solid card for the right user and situation. ... show more

  • A Great Choice!
Style: 9070 XT 16GB Hellhound
RE: Powercolor Hellhound 9070 xt There was no question on the card I wanted but in the beginning that didn't seem possible, so I put my expectations of a hellhound aside and looked at what else was out there, the pulse seemed like it would be available, but not so much in the US. I decided to wait for a hellhound opportunity and I’m so glad I did, one became available on Amazon at $20.00 over MSRP and I jumped on it. I picked the hellhound because it’s a great example of engineering at its best (this card is replacing a hellhound 7900 GRE which ultimately sold me on this design). The weight (2.6 lbs., no additional support required), dimensions (uses 2.5 slots and fits most midsize cases), great thermals, quiet, factory OC and dual 8 pin power connectors are the properties I was hoping to find, and again hellhound didn’t disappoint. I use a custom fan setting (see picture) which keeps the memory junction temps (hot spot) at 80-84c on full load and the GPU temps generally stay in the low fifties. The games I generally play on this machine are; Doom Eternal, Doom the Dark Ages, Halo Infinite and Avatar FOP. With the 9070 xt GPU set at stock (No OC) I experienced the following performance: (Game settings are the same used by the 7900 GRE for comparison purposes) Doom Eternal --19% increase over the 7900 GRE (8% OC) Halo Infinite -- 30% increase over the 7900 GRE (8% OC) Avatar FOP -- 29% increase over the 7900 GRE (8% OC) Doom the Dark Ages -- 110 FPS (TAA native) QHD all settings Ultra-Nightmare (new game not played with the 7900 GRE) Furmark2 Bench (open GL, QHD) -- 11% increase over the 7900 GRE (8% OC) Furmark2 Bench (open GL, QHD) -- 20% increase over the 7900 GRE (stock) 3dMark Time Spy -- 20% increase over the 7900 GRE (8% OC) (no data on the 7900 GRE (stock) using Time Spy) I highly recommend the hellhound 9070 xt for anyone looking for an upper midrange card and wants the best design and quality available: *Uses only 2.5 slots and dimensions work for most midsize cases - Check *Weights only 2.6 lbs., no additional support needed – Check *Great thermals, default settings are ok but using a custom fan setting keeps this card extra cool (see picture) – Check *Factory OC, perfect for stock or overclocking – Check *Quiet, I can't hear the fans over the CPU cooler and has zero coil whine – Check *Dual 8 pin power connecters, no 12-pin cable to worry about - Check ... show more

  • Beautiful in so many ways
Style: 9070 XT 16GB Hellhound Spectral Edition
1. I love accurate delivery times!! 2. Perfect packaging. Excellent condition of box. 3. Perfect piece to my all white build. 4. Performs as expected. 5. Very little RGB. Which is great, no extra cable, blah blah. 6. So far really quiet with low temps. Only about 3 hours of game play so far. So take that for what it is. 7. Perfect length. A tad longer if not the same size as my 7900xt phantom gaming I replaced. Overall really happy. Not gonna complain about price. If you don’t mind a premium for all white, get it. If not?
