Over the years, I have purchased a number of Ryobi tools. I used to keep them in bags in a small standing tool chest. I always needed to go through several bags to find the proper tool. I have mounted two of these racks and love that it holds both the tools and the batteries. There is also another shelf that can hold many of the accessories for the tools. I still need to keep some of the bags for the tools that have many accessories, but I have now labeled those so it is easier to match with the tool when I need to use them.     • Nice unit that's easy to assemble and seems to hold quite a bit of weight.
Most of these types of "put together" assemblies are pretty weak/bendable, so it was nice after I assembled the unit to see how sturdy it is when hanging on the wall. I am pleasantly surprized by how ridigid this unit is. The supplied wall hardware is not the best so I used my own wood screws to put into the studs in my basement utility room, however assembly was pretty easy... MAYBE 5 minutes, if that? The supplied screw heads are BIGGER than the hole opening on the the wall unit. So that is annoying. You can store your cordless powertools and extra charger/battery with this unit. Makes for a very well organized little setup. This is perfect in my basement utility room. I have the cordless tools mounted so that the battery opening is pointing downward. I don't like hanging tools upside down that have a hole in them because then all the dust and crap goes in it... So I'm not sure why they always advertise it that way. Just seems strange. Overall I must say this is a decent little unit for the price. I have three milwaukee cordless tools hanging from this and one dewalt cordless drill. They all fit with no problem and there is no contact of them when removing or putting them back in their place. I could do without the side tool storage just for a cleaner look. It's not enought to actually warrant me putting tools on the side, since I use my tool chest. But I could see that part being used persay if I had this in the shed and needed common screw drivers or pliers that would be used to work on the lawn equipment. ... show more

    • Solid construction, holds a ton
Very impressed with this organizer. Solid construction with very sturdy metal constructioin. Instructions were pretty good, though I’d suggest assembling everything before tightening the nuts with the provided wrench. I hadd to loosen a few nuts because the angle was a couple millimeters off and a couple screws wouldn’t fit through the holes. This organzer holds my 3 drills, 5 batteries, and multiple screwdrivers and other tools. The metal doesn’t bend or sag. I anchored one side into a stud and used a stronger anchor than the one that was provided. The kit came with 4 bolts with attached washers and nuts and I’m not sure what it was for as it wasn’t mentioned in the instructions and it can’t be used for drywall or studs. The only other thing is that the paint finish isn’t powder coated so it might get a little scratched up over time. But that isn’t anything that I personally care about. Overall a great plus to have if you’re looking too clean up small power tool and batteries in a compact space. ... show more

I was able to attach this to the side of my Yukon metal storage cabinet and use it to store not only my cordless drill, cordless flashlight, cordless air pump, along with their various chargers and extra batteries. This shelf organizer actually looks a lot bigger in the pictures but it is very versatile in how you can use it with the multiple shelves and side attachments to store screwdrivers, pliers, shears, etc. It is very easy to assemble and one you have it put together is very stable for mounting on a wall. This is easy to assemble, easy to mount, and sturdy. I would like to store my tools with a battery but there isn't enough room to do so. I did try and bend the hangers so I could hang the tools with the batteries but it caused the tools to hang crooked making it difficult to put them away or take them off. So I have to remove the battery and store it on the shelf so the tool can be put away. It's not that big of a deal but would like to have the option. I purchased this for my husband to add to our garage for some organization and he opened it up and had it assembled in about 10 minutes, I think! It's made of metal and has enough space to hang and organize a few drills with additional spaces for screwdrivers and shelving space for anything else you might want! I even tested the strength of this a little bit and stepped on it and put quite a bit of weight on it and it will take a lot of weight before it seems to start bending.
