Been using the brakes rotors and pads for about a month now. So far these are great. The stopping and noise level are excellent. Seems to be better quality pads then your pads you buy from your local parts store. They do dust a little bit that is to expected.

fittment was perfect. stopping power restored. I have a 99.5 jetta and as such do not have the wear sensors. I simply cut the harness on the pad and it fit perfect.

I bought these as an Amazon Warehouse "used" deal and I'm glad I did. Product is comes brand new (unused), rewrapped in generic white boxes (see pictures). These were a direct replacement for the OEM 2004 VW Jetta and went in without any issues. After doing the proper bedding process and after a few months of use initial pad "bite" isn't as strong as the OEM VW pads, however the stopping effectiveness appears to be the about the same.     • Okay kit, but make sure it's all delivered and complete.
If you order make sure you receive 2 boxes, as others have stated, I didn't realize it until I started to install. Amazon made good on replacement, but had to return what was received. Replacement arrived in a bigger box with all items. However, before you install, check everything over to ensure it is all there and correct. In my instance, the rear rotors were identical, but the front rotors were not despite the boxes had identical part numbers and markings. The odd rotor lacked the cross-hatch finish the others had, it was a smooth blank, and the inboard side of rotor, side against caliper piston and pad, was thicker than the outboard side. It was same thickness as other rotor though. I thought about returning it, but Amazon usually requires the entire kit returned and I had already installed 3 of them. I just said to hell with it and run as is. Rotors made in PRC.. Many company's rotors are manufactured in PRC and most say they're made under strict QA/QC. We shall see. ... show more
