  • Grinds to every stop
I've changed many sets of pads and rotors over the years, never had a set of brand new pad grind everytime I come to a stop. All normal points lubricated, caliper slide rods, behind clips, clips, caliper pressure points and even took them off to check, clean lub again along with clean what looked like still brand new pads and rotors again with break cleaner. I see nothing wrong, everything slides perfectly, but both sides of the front off my truck grind to a stop even after a couple hundred miles driving back and forth to work. So for my opinion, you get what you pay for and this is crap. Going down to the local store and buying new pads like I should have done from the start. Edit. I did call them and they're supposed to be sending me out a new set of pads. So I'll update my review based on the results. Never had a bad set of pads before, but suppose anything is possible. Ok, been almost a week and haven't heard a word out of this company other than the initial contact person who stated they send out a new set. No tracking, no more contact so called Amazon and got a refund for the pads. They offered 25% back which should cover most of a decent set of pads. So my review still stands. The product sucks and now their customer support sucks too. ... show more

  • Great profile great price
Skeptical buying these. The price was too good to be true. I thought for sure I was going to get an inferior brakes and rotors. I was very surprised at the quality of these pads and rotors. They’re very quite and truly dust free, I’ve had them installed for at least two months and haven’t had any issues with them dusting or squealing! Highly recommended. Make sure you buy some caliper grease because although the description indicates that caliper grease comes with this package it did not... It did come with multiple styles of brake brackets so make sure it install the correct brake pad hardware! Oh I nearly forgot, don’t forget to break in the pads as recommended by the manufacture. It may seem complex while reading the break in procedure it’s not though and goes by very quickly. It’s very important to break in these pads even if you’re not changing out your rotors ... show more

  • Not my first time
I had installed Power Stop on my truck over a year ago and they have performed flawlessly. When it came time to replace brakes on my mother's truck I had no issue ordering from them again. The kit arrived in a few days and the install went without issue. I followed the break in procedure and the brakes perform as well as, if not better, than the stock ones. I was super pleased with how well things turned out for the front brake kit. However to get the whole story you must now check my review on the KOE2083 rear brake kit. ... show more

  • Very cheaply made
I installed these on my uncle's 2012 Chevy Silverado. Everything seemed to go ok with the install. Took it for a test drive and noticed a VERY bad front end vibration. Very unsafe over 20 mph. Took the rotors back off and realized that they were not sitting flush on the hubs because they were just a little too big. Seems like they were not honed out correctly after casting or something. I was able to take a file to take off the excess metal and get them to sit properly. Moral of the story, don't cheap out on auto parts, it rarely pays off. ... show more

  • OEM quality
I’ve been using Powerstop brakes for a few years on several of my own vehicles and I’ve never had any issues with them. I see a lot of people complaining about their new rotors warping, it’s very important to make sure that your caliper pistons aren’t seized or dragging the pads this will ultimately result in quickly worn pads and warped rotors. One of the easiest ways to tell is checking the temperature of the rotors on the vehicle after a short drive. (Comparing front to front & rear to rear, not front to rear) If one rotors is much hotter than the other side it’s a good indication you have a dragging pad from a seized caliper piston. ... show more

  • 71,000 miles on a set of these pads and rotors
I put these pads and rotors on a 2011 Yukon. 71,000 miles of city driving later and I am ordering a replacement set. These are great parts. I use 3M Brake Lube and AGS Sil-Glyde (both available on Amazon) and have no noise issues at all. Thoroughly clean the wheel hub so that the rotor lays flat and that should eliminate the most common cause of vibration issues. ... show more

  • Well worth the money.
Great deal. Ceramic pads and installation guide. Couldnt of been easier. The one thing I really liked was the Break-In-Procedure Sheet that I received. I never knew that you had to break in the new breaks!

  • Looks great
Installed on a 2013 Tahoe. Rotors looks like the original with same amount of cooling fins. Heavy and looks like very good quality. Brake pads look good as well. Easy install and Tahoe is back on the road.
