Got this link cable to play PCVR games using my meta quest vr headset and my pc. The cable itself is quite long and thick and appears to be of good quality. I can connect my quest to my pc via this link cable and the vr is recognized by the pc, however when I attempt to play PCVR games it doesn't seem to work. I can play air link just fine, so I'm not sure what the issue is. It doesn't seem to charge my vr either, because it showed a low battery while the cable was connected to my pc. Overall, this cable didn't work with my first generation meta quest but it seems to be a good quality cable for the price. ... show more

Computer doesn't even recognize that it's connected. Does not function with quest 2 at all. All this does really is charge my headset. No link connection at all.

I opened it up and found that right at the middle where they stuck it in the wrap machine has already been kinked up, that and also the points where the twist ties went on were also indented from how tight the ties were. Not great that the cable has already been worn down on by the packaging machinery. But, it still works, so that's all well and good for me. The terminations on either end of the cable feel like good quality rubber injection moulds, perhaps they could use some extra strain relief ribbing to go down the cable a bit but otherwiseit feels sturdy. I moved on from my Quest quite a while ago to PSVR2 when the PC adapter released, so I can't test how it performs with Link, or ADB wired ALVR for the "I need more options" enthusiasts, but it does transfer to and from my phone at USB3 Gen 1 speeds and maintains a stable connection. It does register QC as well, but it does not register PD. I think PD is a C to C only standard anyway, it's not a huge surprise that an A to C cable won't do it. Does mean that it won't charge something like my Steam Deck, but I have other cables dedicated for that. Overall, other than the packaging kinks, it's a pretty nice cable that will have a good home in my work bag. ... show more
