The rotors are cast using the finest G3000 metallurgy with strict OE tolerances - making them a perfect, bolt-on upgrade without the need to make any modifications. Precision drill holes allow for maximum rotor cooling. This keeps your brakes temperatures down during extreme operating conditions.     • Can feel the increased stopping power.
Kit came with everything needed for install except for grease to lubricate the caliper slide pins. I now have 2,000 miles on these and they feel like the grab harder than the previous set of ceramic break pads did that a got from a local auto store. I only put these on the front and now I'm considering putting them on the back as the car seems to nose dive under hard breaking as the stock brakes in the back are no match for the bite that these have. Only downside is under heavy breaking you can hear a slight growl that you don't hear with normal smooth rotors. I assume this is due to the drill holes and slots. Normal to medium breaking I hear no noise. These will be going on my other cars as the pads need replaced. ... show more

This is the second car I have bought these for, which is 800 pounds heavier and over 2 feet longer than the first one. Even with these factors, the brakes perform just as good. My 2003 Monte carlo is not equipped with ABS, so good, dependable brakes are very important to me and my safety. These are absolutely the best brakes and rotors for the price. I am eager to try the new Z26 Street Warrior pads offered by the same company, but I feel it's not necessary since it's not a sports car and they're a bit costly. I plan to get rotors and z23 pads on the rear sometime soon. As for now, I am pleased with the performance with just the front. This is the only brand I will go to for rotors and pads, I'm not sure if they have performance Calipers or not, but that is something I'd be interested in too. I know Callahan brakes have great calipers, just not sure about Powerstop. Anyway..... I would recommend Powerstop to anyone and everyone who needs brakes parts. ... show more

These were a bit noisy at first. I'm not sure if I just got used to it or if the noise went away, but I don't care now. I did the break-in procedure and after a couple months my car brakes smoothly and quietly. I had a problem with the the original rotors but the customer support jumped in and at this time I'm 100% happy with the response, they made it right. So far, so good. ... show more

I have had these on my 1999 Buick Park Avenue Ultra for about 6 months now. They work great, but I found out after putting them on that my old rotors were not bad, I just had old tires that were way out of balance. Now that I have new tires and new rotors, the car rides like a dream.

    • Only a half hour to install, and brakes feel great!
When I rec'd the package I took it and my 2004 Monte Carlo SS to my regular mechanic. It took a half hour to install, only costing me $40. The brakes feel wonderful, very solid and silent. One thing I must mention, when the box arrives, please use caution lifting it as it is extremely heavy, at least for us older folks:) ... show more

I have a 2004 Impala as and when I bought it they said new brakes were just put on the car.. Well every time I stopped the entire car would shake and so did the steering wheel. So I wanted some new ones that looked better then original ones. So I bought these and I can't explain how happy I am with these. They came really fast and not damaged.     • Smooth stopping power.
These were for my son’s car, but he says it was like night and day after installing the brake discs and pads. I have experience with this brand in the past for my Honda Civic Si and was very pleased with those. That is what caused me to buy these when we needed new pads and rotors.
