I have had my mixer for 15 years and have chipped at least three of the ceramic paddles. Decided to go with a new kind, as my last ceramic coated paddle only made it two years before chipping. I do not have the biggest Kitchen Aide.. but this blade is too short to reach bottom of my bowl. I read sizes and descriptions before I ordered and it seemed like the right one. Quality does appear to be good. Sorry it is too small
