I’m giving this one star, because it’s cute. I can’t believe I paid this much for this overrated “holder”. I can’t trust it to hold my iPad on my kitchen countertop for recipes. It’s awkward to get correctly into position—the finish isn’t smooth, so the sides grab as you move them into position, and it likely won’t stay without the protective cushion strips. It arrived without the adhesive cushioning strips, as another recent reviewer complained. Without them, I don’t want it on my countertop—might scratch. Overall, it’s a clunker. Luckily, Amazon refunded me. There’s better options out there for a holder—the point being that above looks, you want something stable to protect your device and your countertops—it’s not rocket science. ... show more

Bought this for my wife as a gift. Goes fantastically in our kitchen with wood countertops. It has a slight rough coating which gives it an elegant feel but is ultimately a practical choice as it keeps the stand in position. It's fully adjustable and is easy to fold flat for storage (although we like to display a cookbook on it when not in use). Smart product and a good value! ... show more
