The rotors are cast using the finest G3000 metallurgy with strict OE tolerances making them a perfect, bolt on upgrade without the need to make any modifications. Precision drill holes allow for maximum rotor cooling. This keeps your brakes temperatures down during extreme operating conditions. My GF installed these on my 07 FJ. My OEM rotors were shot and couldn’t be turned anymore. The rotors were warped and it was shaking worse than Hillary at a NRA convention at speeds 55+. After doing some research and reading reviews, I contacted the company and was impressed with their product knowledge and professionalism so I decided to buy these PowerStop rotors and pads. They arrived in 2 days thanks to Prime. The day they arrived, I had to fly to Amsterdam the next day for business. When I returned 2 weeks later, my GF said she installed the rotors and pads all by herself watching youtube videos and reading the forums. She said the hardest part was removing and installing the 35” Nitto tires lol....but she did it. She said the install was very easy and she didn’t have any problems with the pesky Toyota calipers that are known to seize on the lower inside piston. She even followed the directions listed on the box to properly seat and bed the pads to the rotors. Time will tell how long they will last but so far they are doing great with minimal brake dust. I have the best GF ever and who knows how to turn wrenches while looking pretty. I gave her a special treat for surprising me and taking care of my FJ ... show more

K2421@338mm is correct. Shame on me for not knowing my wife's rotors were 338mm instead of 319mm when I got the obligatory "my car is making brake noises" call while I'm out of town. Had to order via phone app with 10 minutes to spare for next day delivery. Perhaps if they actually told you something useful like 17" or 16" wheels instead of "Yes this fits" your vehicle when I pick EITHER one of them, then I wouldn't have screwed it up. Why would I look for another size if this one says it fits? Only after discovering the problem did I even know to look for a difference. Once you know to look, there are tons of PO'd people who had the same problem on Amazon and all over the internet. FIX YOUR FILTERING TOOL!!!!!!!! Find me a 2005 4runner Sport V6 without 17" wheels anyway. Parts were nice otherwise, would have loved it if they had fit. How many people have returned these...10, 100, 1000. It has to be alot. Why not flag this as a common error!?!? 4Runner jacked up in garage, 2 days before Xmas 11pm, Stage 5 in the middle of a pandemic when I figure this out, after prying out the old pads and denting the old rotors. Auto parts stores are closed until tomorrow (if even open) and I have to waste time fighting other m0r0ns in UPS store to return these. After installing the rotors and pads there was a severe grinding noise, so I had to put my old rotors back on. I worked with Power Stop support for 8 days only for them to say it was an ordering mistake, and I had to pay for shipping. I returned everything to Amazon If you have a 4 Runner be very careful because they are two different diameters and the amazon website is not clear Power Stop did say that they will work with Amazon to fix the issue, but I guess I was just collateral damage. Power Stop Customer Service is heartless so beware if you have any issues and need support. ... show more

    • Best Deal On Brakes I've Found With No Performance Loss
Fit my 2003 V6 4runner exactly. I bought a used 4runner with warped rotors. I knew what the issue was when I test drove it and under braking the whole car felt like it was going to shake apart. I used this to my advantage during negotiations and got $500 off. Follow the break in process exactly. The pads and rotors have to wear grooves into each other so they bite under braking. To do this the brake and rotors need to get hot hence the hard braking cycles. Allow a few hundred miles after the break in before you really feel the stopping power. Once they are broken in they work fantastic. I can't speak on durability yet but will update this post if they do not reach average useful life for pads or rotors. *****HINT***** If installing yourself, keep your old pins and clips. The ones provided in the package were not as good as the ones that were already on the car. The ones provided will work fine with a little modification/bending. ... show more

    • Pads are not the same size as the stock pads
I didn't like the fact that pads were too large to slide onto my stock calipers. With my front brakes apart, old rotors off and the new rotors installed (which fit perfectly) I was disappointed that even though the rotors and pads were supposed to fit my 2017 Toyota Tacoma, TRD off Road etc. the Pads did not. They were probably a millimeter too long. I'm suspecting that these are build for their calipers and not the stock Toyota parts. I ended up going to Carquest and purchased a new set of pads to complete the project. Amazon refunded the cost of the Carquest pads after submitting a copy of the receipt. Installation was straight forward, rotors are true and parallel . Was this a mistake at the factory, wrong pads in the correct application, who knows . ... show more

    • Proper break-in is a must
The rotors look pretty slick, although I don't know how much the drilled holes and slots do, honestly. After installing, I took the truck down the road just a few hundred feet, and came back. The pads wanted to stick to the rotors, and made them shudder, so I let them cool off and then took it out for a proper breaking-in. After breaking them in (or bedding), they acted normally, and seem to work well, although I can't say they're any better than the factory brakes (which lasted 75k miles and still had some life left). The factory brakes on my 2014 Tacoma 4x4 TRD Offroad began to vibrate during braking at about 25k miles. By 35k miles it was intolerable. Got worse the hotter the brakes were, especially at high speed. These Power Stop rotors and pads fixed the problem perfectly! I put these on my 2006 Toyota Tacoma Sport 4x4, and they were a perfect fit. After a few miles of break-in time, these rotors and pads have excellent smooth stopping power. Time will tell if they hold up to the Arizona heat and the abuse that I give my 4x4, but so far they are great. Much more solid than my factory rotors. For the price, this kit can't be beat. I always use ceramic pads, too, so this combination was exactly what I needed. ... show more
