I ordered this because I moved into an apartment and I know they are gonna be jerks if and when I move if the carpet is stained. My dog had had an “accident” of a relatively messy nature. Anyway I tried cleaning it with their directions of soap and water and it still was stained. So I ordered this stuff I crossed my fingers and tried it and not only did it work I didn’t even have to touch it it just disappeared. I also had a stain under my bed from when my same dog puked under the bed and of course it was right in the middle where I couldn’t reach it. I knew this product worked well for pet stains but never realized how well it works for other stains. I had an irrigation system installed last month and live in a "red clay" area of TN. I have light colored rugs and this product got every single footprint, paw print and other dirt stain out with just some gentle rubbing. I'm sold! Have used this product every time I use my Bissell upright carpet cleaner and smaller Bissell for upholstery. Does the job and removes common stains. Leaves no odor and dries nicely. Recommend.

    • Nasty Month Old Smell... Gone!

So I discovered that my dog started urinating in a little forgotten corner of my entertainment room. Apparently, she had been doing it for a while because in addition to a fresh pool, there were areas of hard and sticky mess on the carpet. I started using a different brand of pet stain remover and the only thing it did was intensify the smell of the urine... the air in that room was just thick of dog pee. It just lingered and lingered and lingered for days and weeks on end, even after multiple applications, and I had enough. I decided to give this Bissell one a go and wow, the odor is now gone.. with one try. It did take a bit of time though, at first, the urine smell was replaced instead by a strong chemical scent but after a day, that smell was gone. I have successfully reclaimed my entertainment room and my little sweetie is not allowed in here anymore (well maybe every now and then) despite being beyond cute. If you have cats, you need this. With 2 Persians and a thick coated short hair, no amount of brushing will stop the Mount Vesuvius of cat yak from erupting. They always seem to go for the carpeted areas too. (I’m convinced it’s because it gives them traction while they’re heaving.) My husband and I have an agreement. I clean up everything that comes out of the little darlings backends and he cleans up everything that comes out their front ends. The problem with that agreement is that he is sort of lazy and usually does a half hearted job with his end of the cat messes. I finally found a cleaner that does most of the work for him, so even a lazy person can successfully get cat yak stains out of carpet!! This stuff is awesome!!! I just bought 6 more bottles of it...3 for upstairs and 3 for downstairs. (You can’t expect a lazy person to traverse stairs to retrieve cat yak cleaner.) I think I might even buy stock in the company that makes it! For real...get this product, you will not be disappointed.     • Damaged product upon delivery twice

The product arrived damaged, we could smell the product before I opened the box. It comes with to bottles of the product and a sprayer with trigger. One bottle had a leak at the top near the seal, so a little bit leaked out in the side of the box. I attached the sprayer and started to use the product. As I was squeezing the trigger, the liquid dripped all over my hand from the trigger. So I decided to return it for a replacement. The second time around the same thing happened. The box had visible damage to it and I could smell the product before opening the box. The bottle had the same leak from the top at the seal where you attach the sprayer. This time I decided to just keep the product and start with the second bottle which had no leaks at seal area and the sprayer didn't leak on my hand as I sprayed.
