My son and I installed these on his 2006 Toyota Camry and we have been very pleased and saved a lot of money. I am no auto mechanic but have spent a fair amount of time maintaining my kids high mileage cars over the years. That said, this was my first brake and rotor job. There are lots of great videos on YouTube. The brake job took my son and I most of the day but we took our time getting any rust off the calipers with a wire brush before installing the new pads and rotors. The product arrived I carefully inventoried and during dissassembly compared parts and components. Everything was accounted for, perfectly fitting, with a straight forward coated rotor break in procedure. My car stops and rolls smooth and quiet as new with great stopping power. After so many brake jobs in my history, these powerstop coated rotors and pads have been the best quality and value so far. I just installed this brake kit and was impressed with the quality of the parts. It included all the parts, including new clips and springs to replace the dirty OEM parts. I struggled with the brake job for other reasons; I recommend a butane torch, research on the rear parking drum brake release mechanism, and lots of patience. Well worth the money; I saved a ton doing this myself. The braking is now quick and quiet after a brief break-in process. ... show more

Great quality. The rotors are fully coated. Once the pads rub on the rotor surfaces, the rust coating will wear away and the rotors will start to eventually rust, but the centers will stay looking good. The brake pad dimensions are good and don’t require any trimming. Some aftermarket pads require ‘adjustments’ in a bench grinder to make them fit due to inaccurate stamping of the backing plates, but these pads fit right in.     • Great Brakes But Powerstop Packing Errors

I ordered this set of 4 rotors and brake pads for my 2009 Toyota Camry. The order arrived with the wrong front brake pads and one incorrect front rotor. By the time I realized the wrong parts were packaged, I already had the front brakes apart and the old parts were unsuitable to reinstall. Amazon came through and reimbursed me enough to buy equivalent front pads from Pep Boys, so I was able to install everything but one front rotor. We arranged to return the incorrectly packed brake set and Amazon got a replacement in the mail that arrived in 2-days. I sent back a complete set with the incorrect parts and the installation and break-in got completed. The car then passed State inspection. Getting wrong parts in a package is inconvenient and Powerstop needs to step up its game to prevent these errors. The front brake pads were in a package that had the correct part number, but the wrong pads packaged. The Toyota uses pads that are about 6-inches long, and the ones included were only 3-1/4", so it was not even close. Two different front rotors were packed, and one had the wrong part number and was much larger in diameter. Amazon made me whole by refunding the cost of replacement pads. This error is the basis for 4-star review. The brakes when correct are a 5-star item and the rustproof coating should keep them looking good for years. ... show more

Daughter was having issues with her camry squealing upon breaking. This pad rotor combo breaks quietly and effectively. Exact fit for car no issues and all hardware included. These are good quality, but I have bought two sets of the same part number, and they have one small problem. The holes in the front brake pads where the spring clips attach to spread the pads and help prevent rattling are drilled at the wrong angle, and it causes these clips to rub the edge of the rotors and make a light squealing sound. I used them on our Avalon and my grandson's ES350 and they both did the same thing. I thought the problem might be in the way the clips are bent, but the original clips fit the same way, so the problem is in the angle the holes are drilled in the pads. I called the manufacturer, but they were not interested in correcting the problem, so it still persists in this latest set I bought. Be aware you need to bend these spring clips up when you insert them to prevent this noise. If not for this problem and the lack of support from the manufacturer I would give them 5 stars. ... show more
