Great quality. The rotors are fully coated. Once the pads rub on the rotor surfaces, the rust coating will wear away and the rotors will start to eventually rust, but the centers will stay looking good. The brake pad dimensions are good and don’t require any trimming. Some aftermarket pads require ‘adjustments’ in a bench grinder to make them fit due to inaccurate stamping of the backing plates, but these pads fit right in. After reading a few negative review Fri. A year or two ago I had questioned my decision to purchase. When. The product arrived I carefully inventoried and during dissassembly compared parts and components. Everything was accounted for, perfectly fitting, with a straight forward coated rotor break in procedure. My car stops and rolls smooth and quiet as new with great stopping power. After so many brake jobs in my history, these powerstop coated rotors and pads have been the best quality and value so far. Quality of the rotors is bar none. Fitment was perfect. The pads are great too. All required retainers are included and lubricant as well. Fjt perfect and look great. Once you accomplish the break in they stop the car very quickly.

    • Great Brakes But Powerstop Packing Errors
I ordered this set of 4 rotors and brake pads for my 2009 Toyota Camry. The order arrived with the wrong front brake pads and one incorrect front rotor. By the time I realized the wrong parts were packaged, I already had the front brakes apart and the old parts were unsuitable to reinstall. Amazon came through and reimbursed me enough to buy equivalent front pads from Pep Boys, so I was able to install everything but one front rotor. We arranged to return the incorrectly packed brake set and Amazon got a replacement in the mail that arrived in 2-days. I sent back a complete set with the incorrect parts and the installation and break-in got completed. The car then passed State inspection. Getting wrong parts in a package is inconvenient and Powerstop needs to step up its game to prevent these errors. The front brake pads were in a package that had the correct part number, but the wrong pads packaged. The Toyota uses pads that are about 6-inches long, and the ones included were only 3-1/4", so it was not even close. Two different front rotors were packed, and one had the wrong part number and was much larger in diameter. Amazon made me whole by refunding the cost of replacement pads. This error is the basis for 4-star review. The brakes when correct are a 5-star item and the rustproof coating should keep them looking good for years. ... show more

Initially just received the rotors without the brake pads but Amazon sent me a replacement right away. They even told me to keep the original rotors (which I still have, not sure what to do with them). It’s been a little over 1-2 months and the Brakes work great and the rotors are some the cleanest I’ve ever seen. ... show more

    • Squeaking brakes
Affordable product however after almost 1 year brakes still squeaks like crazy. Will be replacing the brake pads to see if this solves the issue. Would only recommend if you are trying to cut cost.

There is a 2 star review for these pads saying they were Incorrect. I called to confirm and they are the same pads. Z17 is with hardware Z16 is without. The lady was adamant I got the right part numbers in my box for this package combo. Daughter was having issues with her camry squealing upon breaking. This pad rotor combo breaks quietly and effectively. Exact fit for car no issues and all hardware included.
