Though these pads were nestled into new brand-name calipers, one caliper froze about a month later. I had to drive the vehicle for two weeks before I could swap out my new, defective, caliper. During those two weeks the heat just poured off of the frozen side, along with the unmistakable odor of roasted brakes. When I swapped out the caliper, I was surprised at how good the pads looked and how little wear they had taken. I shouldn't have done it, but I was curious. Did some research before buying, these were in top 5 and price was right. At auto parts place it's special order(not in stock), not to mention twice the money. Put them up front on my truck, Delco Silver ceramic in the rear. Awesome.

First of all, it is frustrating to order a product and then not receive what was described. My brake pad kit arrived with no hardware in the kit as advertised. This means that I must clean up and reuse the old hardware if it is still usable. Second, when you order a critical component like a brake pad, you expect quality. One of the pads in my set arrived with a small chip (about 1/4") on the face of the pad. This is the contact area of the pad, and is the most important area. Overall, I am disappointed with my purchase and will shop a little harder next time. As far as wear and performance of the pads, time will tell. ... show more
