Update- after driving for a week I developed a mis fire in #6, I had replaced the coils when I did the plugs, put an old coil on 6, still P0306, bought a new coil for 6, finally after checking the fuel pressure, I was going to check compression- when I found the #6 plug had .020 gap and didnt look like the other week old plugs, bought another delco plug locally and replaced it - car runs great now - recheck the gaps and lay all the plugs out and make sure the electrodes all look the same. My 100k and 200k miles spark plugs, they came gapped almost exactly right, it take quality to last 100k miles and they have once already

Genuine AC Delco plugs

I know how to tell if these are counterfeit. These are genuine for sure, and made my engine come alive again. The dislike- AC Delco's packaging was horrible! Normally Delco puts a tip protector on these, these had nothing, just loose boxes, no individual tip protectors. These thankfully were gapped properly, so no chance of removing, or scuffing the Iridium while adjusting the gap. Had the fine Amazon driver accidently dropped the package, it would have destroyed the tips. Do better Delco!

Different part numbers and incomplete cover

The part number appearing on the cartoon box is different than the one appearing on the spark plug. Although the box should match the item, I can see that the item still fits. Also, all 6 items were delivered without full plastic cylinder similar to the one I bought in the past as shown in the picture of my previously purchased item. This predisposes the poorly protected plug's gap to damage during shipping.

If you have a GM vehicle - run AC Delco plugs

Installed these in my wife's HHR with 2.4L. The plugs that came out were Autolites installed by a previous owner. The plugs were very slow/difficult to spin out once loosened - to the point that I thought there might be a problem with the threads. As the plugs came out, I could see that the threads on the plugs were shiny and dull on the crowns of the threads telling me that the QA/QC on these Autolite plugs was poor, and they were maybe a couple thousandths too large causing a very tight fit on the thread mating surfaces. When comparing them to the new AC Delco plugs, I could see that the tips of the electrodes were totally eaten away in varying amounts on each plug causing very large plug gaps - no wonder I was getting misfire codes. I installed the new AC Delco plugs and they threaded in MUCH easier. After reassembly, the engine fired instantly and ran much smoother at idle. I cleared the misfire codes and they have not returned. In short, if you want your GM car to run well - spend the literal couple of extra $ and get AC Delco plugs. They are the plugs your car was designed to operate with from the factory.

The 4.2 LS "Vortec" inline six motor really likes these. That's in trailblazer, envoy, and other common early 2000s GMC vehicles. I suggest pulling one of your plugs first to be sure you're getting the right one. These motors are quite particular about the plugs- I've seen other brands like Champion, etc not work correctly. NGKs are viable alternatives, however.
