It’s quickly become my most favorite spot for winding down, whether I’m reading a book, catching up on TV, or just taking a moment to relax with my kids. The massage feature adds an extra layer of relaxation that I really enjoy, and the power lift is surprisingly convenient. While I don’t need it for mobility reasons, it makes getting up easier and feels like a thoughtful addition to the overall design. The chair feels sturdy, well-made, and supportive, which gives me confidence it will last a long time. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this recliner to anyone who values comfort above all else. I was pretty nervous about dropping close to $1,000 on a recliner without seeing it in person, but I’m honestly impressed. Delivery was much faster than expected, and the chair arrived in three boxes that weren’t too hard to manage. Assembly isn’t difficult, but lining up the arms took me a couple of tries—definitely easier with two people. The gray chenille fabric feels soft but durable, and it’s easy to wipe clean. I went with the “Big Man” version even though I don’t really need the size, and I’m glad I did—the extra width makes it super comfortable, and my dog is happy to share the seat with me. Some features stand out: the flip-up arms with cupholders and storage are surprisingly useful, and the built-in USB/USB-C charging inside the pocket means no messy cords around the chair. The lumbar pillow was an unexpected bonus and gives nice support. The lift function is a game changer. I’ve had both knees replaced, and when they lock up the chair gives me that extra push to stand up without strain. The massage/heat is fine—about what I expected, nothing amazing, but it does help after a long day. Overall, this is a solid, supportive chair that feels well-made. The chair's build quality is good. The chair is very comfortable for me. I am 5' 9" and 235 pounds. But the seat is to hard for the person we bought it for. The way the description says it is a Plush seat you sink into. This was bought for a 92 year old with breakdown problems. The seat is too hard for anyone with this problem. In the process of the return. UPDATE: Talked to the seller and Amazon customer service and per the seller policy for items of this size they do not offer a free return shipping. It would cost around $500 to send it back, because it is a big item. The seller is a smaller company and offered me a discount for keeping the chair. The seller was very nice about everything and I decided to keep it. I decided to update to 4 stars because the seat is a little too firm. ... show more

This chair has been incredible for my mom. She has edema in her legs, and being able to elevate them comfortably has made a huge difference in her swelling and pain. The padding and wide leg rest let her sit for long periods without discomfort. The lift function is amazing and has given her so much independence. She can stand up safely and smoothly without needing help, and the bright, easy-to-use remote makes everything simple for her to control. The chair itself is extremely comfortable, well-padded, and very plus-size friendly. It feels sturdy and secure, with a roomy seat that doesn’t pinch or sink. The hidden arm storage is perfect for her remotes and snacks, and the built-in cupholder is a great touch. If you’re caring for someone with mobility needs or swelling, this chair is absolutely worth it. It has improved her comfort, confidence, and daily independence more than we expected.
