I am amazed by the quality of this chair for the price that I paid. The chair is extremely comfortable. The fabric is soft and plush. The chair reclines and moves up so you can be in a standing position. It also heats and vibrates. My son came over to help with the assembly, which was fairly easy. We are very pleased with this chair. My husband needed a lift chair and this one works great. It is very comfortable. It was easy to put together, but 2 people were needed to attach the back, but only due to the angle. I did purchase the additional warranty due to the chair only having 30 day. Would like to have had up to date information on delivery. Arrived 3 days early without notification. Came home late in the evening and it was unexpectedly in my driveway. ... show more

Armrest protectors in photos not included with chair Footrest and recline is one mechanism where if you just want your feet up it doesn’t have that function. Control is hard to understand for seniors or someone with vision problems. Vibration is a little loud and intense for someone that may have sensitivity issues as well. Okay... I'll begin with what I don't like ... Whenever I recline, it doesn't raise up my legs and feet much... I mean, they're kinda up and straight in front of me and I prefer more elevation so it takes the pressure off my lower back... What I do like, however, is the heat and massage modes. It's also nice if I don't want to exert myself getting up and out that I don't have to. It was a steal for $319 and it's simple to assemble... Just put the arms on first as instructed... Later on... it's awful hard to attach them with the bask attached... I learned the hard way. If you don't need the bells and whistles...get them anyway. I sometimes sit with the massager on for an hour or more continuously...very relaxing. Would buy again! ... show more

    • A Godsend for my elderly mom!

My mom is in assisted living with severe scoliosis. She has a recliner but it swallows her whole. She is 100 pounds soaking wet and short. I saw this on Amazon and it was on sale. I took a chance without her being able to pick it out herself and she loves it! It massages,heats,has a place for cups/containers and it moves up and forward if she needs to lean forward to reach something. It also allows her to stand up. The chair stands all the wall up to support her. It's SOFT and the material is very nice. We were going to have to wait to get it and I wrote the seller and asked if I could get it a little sooner. Mom, was falling over on her side in her oversized chair and was miserable. The chair actually came SEVERAL days early even though it had already shipped.
