Overall this is a sturdy rack. My home gym is set up in a smaller room so I selected this item for its smaller footprint which worked out well. There are only two issues I have with this product, 1) The j hook accessories interfere with the rear support braces that attach to the 2x2 frame putting stress on the attachment pin weld joints. 2) The 2x2 frame only has side holes so you have to use the offset j hook accessories that are provided with this rack. Standard j hook accessories have a front to back attachment pins and I haven’t been able to find any that are offset to work with this rack.

As someone who’s been dedicated to home fitness for two years, this squat rack has completely blown me away! While it’s not commercial-grade equipment, it’s absolutely perfect for home use. I set it up in my garage workout space, and the height is ideal for my 6-foot frame—no head bumps during pull-ups, and the pull-up bar grip feels incredibly comfortable. What amazed me the most was its rock-solid stability! Even when loaded with 120kg (265 lbs) of weight plates for squats, the rack doesn’t budge. The four corner holes (though I didn’t bolt it down) provide extra security, but the sheer weight of the rack plus the plates keeps it firmly in place. And when I need to move it, unloading the weights makes it easy to slide around solo. After three months of use, the only wear is some minor paint chipping on the J-hooks (blame my knurled barbell), but it doesn’t affect performance at all. Compared to the cost of commercial equipment, I saved a fortune while getting 90% of the professional experience! If you’re looking for: 1. A high-value home squat rack 2. A versatile training station 3. A safe and stable strength-training partner —this one is a must-buy! It’s completely reignited my love for home workouts, and I’d call it the best fitness investment of 2025! The seller even included a helpful setup video, making the unboxing-to-training process seamless. Highly recommended for all home fitness enthusiasts!
