  • Great sub, great price!
Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
I have this running off of an Infinity 611a that pushes 657 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms. This thing is way underpowered, but slams and still shakes my truck. I didn't want anything too overkill and even just one of these is more than enough for me. It sounds good with rock music and will slam when I crank up some music with more bass. I used to have a Critical Mass SS122 running off of the same amp and I blew the voice coil on the sub with this amp. With this MOFO, there's no worry that I'll do that again. I did a lot of looking before settling on the MOFO, and it was a good choice. If you want a woofer than can handle some higher wattage and produce bigger sound, this is a great quality, lower cost option. Bottom line: You won't find another sub in this price range that can handle the wattage this can. Of course something like a JLW7 would sound better than this, but for the price - It can't be beat! ... show more

  • 2003 Dodge Neon Daily Driver has INSANE BASS
Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
First of all I did not intend on going this large with my build. Although, I did and I love it. It sounds great at low volume levels and amazing at high volume levels when I want to show off. The best part is when a good song comes on and somebody in the car says, "Turn this up" well, they did not expect to receive that amount of bass. I generally keep everything super low so you can only tell I might have one 8" in the trunk. Shakes the entire car, moves the rear-view mirror and points it down, (I don't mind readjusting). -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My setup includes: I used the Planet Audio P365M In-Dash Single-Din SD/MP3 Player Receiver with Remote and Stinger SK4641 4 Gauge 4000 Series Car Audio Amplifier Installation Kit and Planet Audio AC5000.1D ANARCHY 5000-watts Monoblock Class D 1 Channel 1 Ohm Stable Amplifier and 1 Cu. Ft. Sealed enclosure with the speakers reverse mounted speakers Planet Audio PCBLK2.0 2 Farad Power Capacitor and finally Optima 8012-021-FFP YellowTop Group 34 Deep Cycle Battery. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The good: -None of my friends have car audio systems and they love it -I use my car as a commuter for work so the system gets good play time The bad: -I am 31 years old and wife thinks I am acting like a teenager -The amp does NOT have fuses in the amp. The only fuse for the amp is off the battery or between the capacitor and the amp. 200 Amp Fuse has worked fine. ... show more

  • good for the money, i wouldnt put a true 1500watts to it though.
Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
nice sub, very punchy. now mind you i just got this sub and have maybe 40 minutes of playing time on it. i am powering it with a 2500 watt Planet audio amp. I have it in a regular cab 2nd gen dodge, took out the center console and made my own with a built in ported box. now mind you again my box is way to small for this sub, 1.5ft give or take. but it rattles my interior and all the other stuff. i just feel like the subs too punchy which could be my small box. the bass is good but when it first hits it is very punchy. it is worth your money. be careful. i have a box that fires up and when i went to set sub in my finger got caught between hole and sub and nearly took my fingernail off. also, they arent 8 gauge wire terminals. i have true 10 gauge wire and i can barely get them to fit. make sure you put the ring around first before you screw it down, i learned that the hard way. ... show more

  • Big Bang
Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
This speaker hits hard. I watched a lot of YouTube videos before I made my decision nd I made a really good decision. This speaker is a beast. I guess that why it called a mofo. The bass this thing puts out is nice nd clean nd deep. Shakes my car.y girlfriend like the bass but sometimes I put a heavy bass song on it she gets mad. But if u want bass nd u r trying to show out nd get the ladies. This is your sub. I have only one in a qbomb box ported box running on a planet audio 1500 watt monoblock amp and hit hits hard. I haven't had any problems so far. Really good buy nd it not to expensive. Probably gonna end up buying another one. ... show more

  • MUST READ MUST BUY!!!
Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
CRAZY AS* FLEXING!!!! WATCH MY YOUTUBE VIDEOS, MY CHANNEL IS "flexinclouds". I USED TO HAVE 1 OF THESE WITH A HIFONICS BRZ2100 PUSHING 1400 RMS WATTS IN A 2.5 CU FT. PORTED BOX I BUILT, WITH A STOCK ALTERNATOR, BATTERY, HEAD UNIT, NO CAPACITOR, AND STOCK BIG 3 WIRES(the battery pos and neg, engine ground, chassis ground and alt positive). I also haf 4awg stinger wire to the amp. AND THAT SH*T WAS DA*M LOUD YOU COULD HEAR IT FOR BLOCKS. ON 8-16-14 I FINALLY FINISHED MY NEW SETUP WITH 2 OF THESE IN A AERO PORT BOX WITH 2.5 CU FT PER CHAMBER TUNED TO 32 HRZ FOR LOW BASS RAP MUSIC. I USED 10FT OF 4" PVC AND MADE 2 PORTS PER CHAMBER AND BENT THE ENDS AROUND A BOWLING BALL AFTER HEATING WITH A HEAT GUN(I COULDVE SPENT $200 ON AEROPORTS ONLINE FOR 8 OF THEM OR $20 AND D.I.Y. I ALSO DID THE BIG 3 IN 1/0 COBRA CABLE(MADE IN THE USA!) AND TO THE AMP WITH BIG A*S PANDUIT LUG CONNECTORS. For those of you who dont know, 1/0 is bigger the 1 gauge or 0 gauge. You probably cant find that wire anywhere just for your car so youd probly have to buy a big roll for a lot of$$$$. The panduit lugs alone were about $60. Now its finally hooked up in my 03 monte carlo ss and OH SWEET 6 POUND 3 OZ. BABY JEASUS MY BROTHER FELT THE TOILET SHAKING WHILE TAKIN A SH*T, WHITH THE BASS NOB AT 1/2 AND THE AMPS BASS BOOST AT 1/3. IM GOING TO MAKE ANOTHER LONG VIDEO TODAY SO CHECKM OUT. and if your on the fence about these subs, BUY THEM, fu*k type rs. I added the cost up and everything was about $750 so imo DEFINATLY WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!!!! ... show more
